Good morning…watched the grammies, was sad when Billy Crystal did the tribute for the Reiners and Barbra Streisand did the tribute for Robert Redford and singing the Way We Were 😭 ….saw a lot of pretty dresses and liked one of the music numbers, only saw one. it’s blowing snow around but sunny so better, worse in the country. I was just sweeping up snow on the screen porch to take outside in a bucket…so the kitties can go out there. Hope the storms aren’t too bad where you are.

😆The Walmart delivery was a joke. The driver pulled into the next door neighbors driveway. I knew it was a mistake. He found out soon enough he was at the wrong house. This driver is a bit ditzy…😜 Otherwise, my order was complete.

Church this am, though DH was dizzy again so didn’t go. Got paid for some returns while there and picked up a client information packet from another. Missed one client who had thought to hand over information, so I’ll get it next week. Stopped at Wild Birds Unlimited afterwards since I am on that side of town. Home to work on tax returns. Another online client finished uploading their information to the online portal. Sometimes they come in faster than I can get them out. It was 82 yesterday, and may get to a whopping 35 today along with the wind 😟 It was very warm when i went to bed last night, had to remove the comforter and open both windows to get a cross breeze. When getting up at 4.30a, had to put said comforter back on and shut 1 window; it had dropped 13 degrees; naturally resulting in a very sound sleep til almost 9a 🙄 I do likes me a cold sleeping room. 😉 Colorado is looking to restrict water usage for this summer; we didn’t get nearly enough snow to fill the reservoirs. 😩 Cody/Laura’s youngest,… Read more »

Big temperature shift! I also like a cold bedroom, but with enough blankets. 😊 In college, my sorority had a cold dorm, with windows open and everyone had electric blankets.

Placed order with Walmart for delivery tomorrow morning. Bought ingredients to make Chili. I use dark red kidney beans and regular baked beans in my Chili. Lots of chopped onions and green pepper too. 😋

So you put baked beans with the sweetness of them in your chili? Never heard of doing that. I found my favorite pumpkin chocolate cookies recently at my grocery store. Was surprised to see them thinking they only had them in the fall.

Yeah, but pork and beans or baked beans both have a sweet and savory sauce including molasses and brown sugar.
FYI – since my husband is a diabetic, I am hyper aware of things that have sweetener in them. Most prepared tomato sauces do, as well as ketchup (or catsup), and definitely barbeque sauce. A lot of other people may not notice it, but it is in there.
My chili does not taste sweet.
Sugar …… just like salt is in everything!!!! Difficult for those on special diets.
Hello…last night we took the dogs to FIL’s…a lot of the time it’s more chatting with the caregiver since he’s watching tv or sleeping. We picked up meals for our late dinner at the deli on the way home. Raining now and will be rainy most of the day, wind advisory too. I got spaghetti, DH got a few pieces of chicken. I don’t cook that much anymore, don’t like to for just me but I make simple things or sometimes eat what DH is making, he likes to cook what he wants and his way, mostly keto. I did make homemade soup awhile back and still have some frozen in the freezer, maybe a couple more servings.
Glad you had a chance to take the dogs out to FILs. Not been into the Oscars for quite a while – generally most of the movies that are nominated these days I haven’t seen or care about. I do check out who won on Monday.
Slept in today. Then called a client to make an appointment and left a message. Worked on 3 tax returns and answered and sent out questions. Did some bookkeeping analysis for another client who could not figure out what her QuickBooks was off. Have some more to do tomorrow on that. Got a signature form and filed a tax return. Three more packets of tax information came in today. DB called because his TV is not working right – it just shows “settings” on the screen. He thought he needed a new TV.
