Howdy-do Lovely Owl People 🦉🦉
Another beautiful sunny day; heading to 95 🌞 Cooled down nicely last night; opened the cross-breeze windows and my room went from 72 to 58 = perfect. Made a trip to recycle today, included several large boxes. Normally when i go to Sam’s we just pick-up the cat-food, but they were out of stock so i had to have them shipped — all those boxes; thank goodness for recycling 😘
Have a good Saturday — Love and Hugs 💗

Yep! Boxes are a big part of recycling these days. Breaking down the boxes is a big job for DH.

Good morning. 💛 A mostly cloudy day here with a high of 54°. Rained throughout the night. ☂ I ordered bank checks from Walmart last week. To order checks from our Wells Fargo bank….costs $35 for 60 checks. 😮 I ordered 120 basic checks. Free shipping and total cost was a little over $17. They said it would take a maximum of 19 business days to receive the new checks…..but received them in less than a week. Very good service indeed. They have some really pretty checks, but I got the basic blue safety. Have a lovely Saturday. Take care… Read more »

Hey Tea, that’s a good deal on checks at Wally’s; my bank is a credit union and they want to charge $$$ too. So i use colorful images for duplicates, the ones with carbon copy attached & they’re about a 1/2 of the cost.

I get my checks through Costco. Pretty good prices there. Through the bank is always the most expensive. I don’t like the carbon copy type – since I keep a running register, they are redundant and you get less checks in a box.

😄 Oh Chris, not sure I should even say this, i stopped balancing/posting data in the register of my checkbook the day carbons became available. Boy was I a happy woman! 😎

I used to get pretty or cute ones…cats, birds, owls 😀 but yes, they are more expensive…I’ll have to see what they are through Current (I order cards from there) next time I need some.

Lynn, i’ve gotten Current checks in the past, they have a lot of pretty/cute ones to choose from. The Current warehouse used to be in Colo Spgs; Charlene and i went there a lot! She was a big fan.

Walmart has a large selection to choose from….and don’t cost that much more than the plain security type.

Worked on a set of three related returns and decided one didn’t need to file, and sent questions on the others. Then got the last bit of information on the Trust return I worked on yesterday and finished that up. Started one new return and am ready to send out questions tomorrow. Got some more information tonight so I can finish up another return tomorrow. Filed a return today that I received a signature form and payment in the mail today. Found out that I had sent out some paper returns with old reply envelopes with my prior address on… Read more »
