This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Went to wound care this afternoon and the stopped at the grocery store for a few things.. The specialist sad Friday it is healing, but will take time. Still haven’t heard on my cataract surgery yet. Not much going on, did have 84 today, but the sun was hot.. I am getting tired but just wanted to ck in for a little bit…Taking DH for his hair cut tomorrow… Good night Love, hugs and prayers….

Worked on taxes most of the day (what else is new). Had a client stop by and talked to another on the phone. Wrote a bunch of emails asking and answering questions. Went grocery shopping. Watched FBI shows with DH. Temps 32 to 54. Fair – sunny. Rain back tomorrow.

Good morning Lovely Owl People 🦉🦉 Laundry done/folded; headed to about 75-80 today 🌞 Have to contact the phone co; the stupid landline is on the fritz again. Not only does it seem as though there’s something wrong with it all the time; it’s expensive $$$. I’m keeping my landline, will end next year anyway and I’m not happy about that..I call people on my landline, and text on my cell phone.
Hi Lynn ♥ i use my Cell for friends/bank/doctor. Landline # for non-important things. If i even suspect a place sells phone numbers, they get the LL #.
Landline phones will end next year? Is this all over the USA? If so, I will not be happy.😢

😄 Me too! When i was about 12, I remember mom sending me out to pull weeds/dandelions. I had a book in 1 hand and pulled a weed or 2 with the other one. 🌾

My mom was a reader too, and my dad used to be unhappy that she would read while they were watching TV together. He wanted her to actually just watch with him. The books she read were totally light fiction and he thought that was a waste of time. Of course, watching TV wasn’t? 🙄😙
lol…well we rarely watch anything together….he doesn’t have time and I’m not into the shows he might watch if he has anytime.
Yep! Mom would tell me it was time to set the table and and say “let me finish this chapter”, and I’d never even notice I had started a new chapter when she’d have to ask me again!

I still have a business landline – allows me to some extent to keep business calls separate though some clients have my cell phone number – friends or when they had to text me at some point. I get some many unsolicited calls on the landline, I normally don’t answer unless caller ID shows a client name. Clients know to leave a message, or send email. I am getting LOTS of no message calls now – bet they are people looking for an accountant and when they hear I am not taking new clients in my message, they hang up.
I actually use the LL quite a bit, it’s just a giant PITA to get it repaired; the ‘help center’ being as useless as using half a paper towel to dry off after a swim in the sea 🙄
😄drying off with 1/2 a paper towel……good laugh for the day.

Hi Tea, I’ve had Windows 11 for a couple years now, but kept the old ASUS laptop on 10 because i liked using it for taxes. Unfortunately, turbo-tax is no longer supported by 10, so now i have no choice but to use the Dell for taxes.

We got rid of the landline a couple years ago when we went with Fiber Optic with AT&T, we were getting so many spam calls, now I use my cell for just about everything.. my IPad for paying bills… still haven’t gotten a computer and may not.. lol We are so used to not having a landline, don’t miss it anymore.
Changes ….always changes. Difficult for me as I age.😏
Good morning…it’s in the 30s, high in the 40s today but the sun is out. I’ll do laundry and this and that. DH is working from home today, said he didn’t get any sleep at his dad’s last night (his dad kept him awake)…he’s cut down to one cup of coffee like me so not sure how he will stay awake but he’ll try. I had my one cup, going to have decaf tea now..
Sorry your DH did not get enough sleep last night. Good he can work from home.
Perhaps you could make your coffee a little weaker and have two cups…..

yes, two days a week, usually, he works from home…I’m thinking when he takes his lunch break and sits on the couch, he’ll fall asleep, who knows…I do make it weaker already, think it might be too weak then..I did try that for awhile..sometime I’ll get some more of my favorite Door County coffee at a gift shop here in town, they have flavored decaf. I know decaf still has a bit of caffeine, though…
Hi Lynn, sorry DH didn’t get any sleep last night; poor guy.
So sorry DH could not sleep at his dad’s. It is hard being a caregiver. I allow myself two drinks with caffeine in the morning and that’s it. It would be hard to stop that right now. I was caffeine free on purpose for years around time I had DD, but getting older changed that.
DH & I have caffeine in the mornings for breakfast… but no caffeine for me in the afternoons… I can.t have a Starbucks after 4pm’’
oh my…I have my one cup early morning and that’s it now.
i have a 4-cup pot; i drink 1 pot in the morning; then i’m done.
