This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Did more bookkeeping. Found a $5000 error from yesterday (typo – misreading number – handwritten 3 vs 8). That’s why I stopped last night and left it for today. Sometimes it just helps to walk away and come back again. When I worked in a CPA frm we would ask the person next to us and they often found the error right away. I’ve walked away, too…sometimes that helps.
SonI actually found that I had a problem on Friday night, and then Saturday I found the solution. Guess I didn’t word that very well.
Walking away is a good plan; it’s always been my go-to in solving issues 😉
Good evening….DH worked on my mom’s furnace and got it going…we walked the dogs and I took a nice long walk, was in the 50s…DH left for his rentals and i’m doing laundry now…we had the best breakfast sandwiches today…mine was bacon, egg, cheese on a biscuit (a big homemade biscuit, not the fast food kind)..came with these little tater tots..I got a chai tea also. I’m not even hungry now, hours later, might make some tea though, it’s a bit chilly in here.

I love big breakfasts that last all day. However, I probably eat the wrong things when I go out for those.
Good morning.. I had a restless night last night with pain.., so sore when they clean out the area, I know it needs to be done.. but I hurt for a couple days….I went to dinner with our friends. I love the turkey breast white meat.. for sandwiches… I haven’t seen white/dark loaf in a long time….we all like the dishes for Thanksgiving.. my family loves the grn bean casserole.. so always make a big dish of that…but we won’t be together this year until Xmas..

Pam, guess you know I just can’t resist kids, lol…also it’s so nice to actually see kids out looking for jobs…pretty young though but they did ok. I was thinking maybe DS ate some undercooked or raw food? or drank bad water? he’s not that careful, you’d think he would be by now.

Visiting nurse yesterday….my BP is a little high and gained two pounds this week. Probably from snacking on green grapes daily and a few cheats here and there…..like the chicken pie. 🙄Have to get back on track before the Thanksgiving meal. I hate weighing myself each morning….the worst part of my day…..but gotta do it.

Worked on bookkeeping. Met with an arborist about some alders we want taken down and got a quote. Did a load of sheets and blanket laundry and folded. Went to the post office in the next town and then grocery shopping. Did some more bookkeeping. Then watched Sherriff Country, Fire Country, and Boston Blue. Sorted through 5 more boxes of old tax files. Less to shred now, because we are getting closer to the present and less of these clients have left or passed away. I started shredding some papers but got so tired of doing it..going to wait now until our bank has their next “shredding day” in the spring sometime.
I have my own shredder, but I have shredded about 10 to 15 bankers boxes of tax return files, and I don’t want to wear out my shredder (plus it would be very slow), so I take them to Office Depot and pay for it to be done. I have too much to take to a local free shredding day.
