This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
We are under a tornado watch until 8 and rain, maybe storms tonight. I’ve been sitting on my screen porch..reading, working on a kids’ craft kit, and coloring…it’s been sunny but windy. DH worked at the cemetery and now working from home.
I am glad your DH is home with you. Not good to be alone during a tornado watch.
Sure hope the tornado watch is cancelled soon.

Good late morning…DH is working from home but leaving for the cemetery soon. Maybe he’ll come back for a late lunch. I found out that DS started the race but didn’t get very far because of pain…I’m hoping he will do what he used to do…chiro and take a break from races for a month or so..especially with Western States coming up…not sure if he still does that. Good morning friends 💚 A beautiful weather day here with sunshine and a high temperature of 80°. Perfect.
It was so hot yesterday we turned on the A/C. We keep it at 78°.
With no humidity it is the right temperature for us. 💕
Cleaned the toaster….so many crumbs. Cleaned toaster oven and trays. I place parchment paper inside the trays after each use. Will clean our percolator coffee pot with special cleaner. It will look as good as new inside. All these little tasks add up.

I have a toaster oven, got it from a sale, great condition…used it for awhile and now haven’t for a long time..what do you use yours for?
I have a Hamilton Beach convection toaster oven. It holds a 9 x 13 pan. I use it instead of big oven for almost everything. Saves on electricity.

Had some maintenance folks come early today so couldn’t sleep in. Tomorrow! 😴 Sent some emails, did a load of laundry, Deposited some checks. Update checkbooks, played some games … and more of this and that. I have lots of work to do but staking it a bit easy today. Watched Elsbeth and Matlock with DH. We have had many of our doctors retire. It is difficult to find a new one. I hope your DH likes his new doctor.
We walked the dogs at the cemetery, then stopped at the grocery /deli on the way home…DH is cooking one of his hamburger concoctions and we’ll eat on the porch. Chance of severe storms tomorrow /tomorrow night, uggghhh….

Nice you could eat outside…glad to could walk the dogs… stay safe in the severe storms,, had a text from my cousin that lives in MI on the flooding where her one son lives in northern MI… really sad , was where they had a tornado a month or so ago… this weather is so unpredictable every where…

Howdy-do Lovely Owl People 💖 Slept in this morning; then off to DollarTree; got Nephew/Dominic’s graduation card & b-day cards thru the end of July. $$$. Ate b-fast at Village Inn; geez that’s a well-run restaurant. Had their Omelet Florentine with spinach, ‘shrooms and tomatoes with a side of pancakes 😋 Managed to slop syrup on my Kindle; table looked like it was inhabited by an unattended toddler; such a mess. 😟 i apologized to my poor server.
