The latest Pixar animated movie, Hoppers, is based on the behaviors of Ginger, an elderly resident beaver at the Cheyenne Mtn Zoo in Colo Spgs.  🤗

Pixar said they set up cameras and watched Ginger for over 2 years so they could get the movements/personality right. 💓 i just think that is so neat.

It does sound kind of weird though, that the main character transfers her consciousness into a robot beaver to try to save a forest glade. Then the insect prince wants to put his consciousness into a robot of the Mayor of the town and has a plan to massacre humans. It all ends up with a compromise, but the robot and consciousness part is a bit out there. More science fiction that animal cute. Got good ratings though.

Howdy-do Lovely Owl People 💖
Woke to sun and freezing temps. Had to turn the furnace on around 6a, then went back to bed 😴 All 3 of my front yard trees have their leaves, 1 tree was not happy being so cold overnight; the leaves are all crumpled; they look so sad 😔 It’s already warmed up to 56, so maybe those leaves will survive.
Had cereal for lunch yesterday; my tummy sure does like that Almond Breeze. 😋
Thought these 2 Tundra comics went well together ↓↓

Good afternoon….we went to a garage sale (bought a few children’s books) and dog class for Bane…later we are going to stop by a friend’s house to help her with something, then take the hammock to the laundromat and go to the grocery store while it’s washing. It’s cold and windy out..

Good morning 💛 A sunny start for the day with clouds this afternoon. Our high temperature will be 68° The heat wave is over.
I said yesterday that I cleaned our percolator coffee pot. Well, it does not work now. 😏 I was very careful not to get the base wet. Tried to order the same one, but it has been discontinued. DH ordered a new percolator to be delivered Thursday. In the meantime, we have a smaller Farberware percolator to use.
Have a nice Saturday.

Tea, Yikes! A broken coffee pot??? Thank goodness for your backup percolator. I have a back-up coffee maker; too — just in case. Chuck broke his carafe about a year ago and rather than just using mine, he made a beeline to Wal-mart. Now that i think about it, hope he remembered to brush his teeth first 😄

Good morning….we had to go to the basement last night…I took the cats down and DH took the dogs…we were there for quite awhile, maybe an hour or more. Bane had fun looking for pieces of food that I’d dropped in the pantry, where I fill their bowls…and he also found a tennis bowl so he thought it was a fun adventure, funny guy. There was lots of rain and we had some dripping here and there..DH said to write on his list to buy the stuff to fix the roof in those areas. We have dog class at 11.

I did see on the weather report of tornado warnings in your area. Must have been scary having to go down to the basement for such a long time. Glad you are all safe this morning.
I hope your DH will have time to fix the roof leaks. Enjoy your dog class. 🐕

What did I do today? Slept in this morning! 😴 After breakfast I went to Costco to get my hearing aids cleaned. The left one always seems to be the one that the sound gets dim in. Last time they had to replace a wire in it. This time just cleaning did it. Picked up some other things while I was there. Also went to the bank to deposit $50 bills I got paid with. They are just not useful to me. Then I went to church to help set up for a missions conference being held by… Read more »
