Similar sleep to last night. Got up and then lay down on the sofa for a while. Then to get working, but my day did not go as planned. Finally got a response to a text to DD from days ago and last night and found out she had lost a check I handed to her the first week of April, so I needed to send replacement funds. Good morning friends 💛 A lovely sunny day here with a high temperature of 70°. DH has been feeling more energetic and has been mowing the lawn with a push mower. He paces himself and does it a little at a time throughout the week. He does this for the exercise and likes to be outdoors after the long harsh winter. I talked to our mower service and once the warmer weather arrives, I am sure DH will not want to mow anymore. Well, I slept better with the heating pad, but I do hate waking up already in pain. Funny, but most of the day I was fine – walking is no problem and even siting at my desk for the most part was fine. Took some pain pills when I woke up, but no more after that. Towards the end of the day though it began to hit me, and sitting on the sofa didn’t help. We’ll see how tonight goes (I’ll take pain pills before bed). Been a long day and I am heading to bed hopefully some sleep. Not much last night after two full nights sleep, never waking up…Have to leave early in the morning for VA in La Jolla, DH has 2 different eye drs to see then at 3 has MRI on his neck. Howdy-do Lovely Owl People 💖 Laundry done early, then crosswords, lunch and a nap; after that, the day just melted away, as usual. Christian, Chelsea’s DH, was called to a 2-alarm fire at an apartment building early today. No one hurt, but they were unable to save a resident’s pet kitty 😢 About 15-degrees cooler than the last 2 days — very nice indeed at a sunny 75. 🌞 Last night, started reading Malala’s latest book, Finding My Way, A Memoir — it’s a wonderful read, she’s very funny; had to force myself to close it… Read more »
