Howdy do Lovely Owl People 💖 Home from Pueblo; got all the pick-up orders actually picked up. Supposed to get to 65, Mother Nature sure took her time gettin’ there. Got some bacon and talked Chuck into cooking it; there’s a year-round farmer’s market about 9miles from here, will be checking their tomatoes. Hello…had dentist appts, then ate at Olive Garden using the gift card I’d won (guessed how many hearts in a jar)…got spaghetti with five cheese marinara..the salad and breadsticks are always so good..and she gave us more salad and breadsticks to take home! A big container of salad and dressing and 5-6 breadsticks! oh, and we had an appetizer, fried ravioli with marinara, I was stuffed…went to Kohl’s and Target and all I bought were dog toys and dog treats, lol….got a free strawberry shake at Steak and Shake before heading home…tired now. Good morning…sipping my highlander grogg coffee. We have cable back but my mom doesn’t…guess she’ll have to wait a bit longer..hopefully by tonight, or even late afternoon, she watches the Cubs, AI, Hallmark, TCM, etc…my brother is the one who usually checks on those things for her but doesn’t usually go there until Fridays. Hi Tea…we didn’t have storms but my sister did and was in the basement a couple times. ..but thank you. I’d rather be without cable and my mom have it…she gets kind of upset about it, and now it’s the second day.
It can be difficult for older people who live alone and mostly stay at home to be without TV.
my mom?? she’s out and about a lot 😂 but home at night…had to laugh a bit because she hates to stay home ..I’m home a lot more..

So I called the Physical therapy place I used for my sciatica and it is actually nearby where we live now. But they had an automated receptionist asking me questions, and I don’t know if they will ever return the call. I did get as bit of a nap this afternoon, though i was also able to do a bit of work. The vet visit went well….it’s thundering now, glad it waited a bit. Our cable is out so no AI…the estimated time to be back on is 8 but I kind of doubt it. DH is going to cook up one of his hamburger concoctions when he’s done working (from home)…have a nice evening, friends.
