This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Good morning 💙 A very gloomy weather day here. High temperature 54°.
Rain all day with heavier rains throughout the night. Could get 2 inches or more.
Showers expected in Texas too…⛳..so watching PGA golf won’t have much sunshine either.
For our dinner I will fry red and green peppers with diced sweet onions to make us omelets.
Does not seem like Memorial Day weekend.
These Monday holidays have most taking off the Friday too. ( medical / dental offices etc.)

Thought I was meeting with my friends for coffee and discussion, but that was not to be. Turns out more illness in the house and we decided to cancel for this week. I did more bookkeeping. Also talked to the same client as yesterday about payroll taxes. Since I do them, he still doesn’t quite understand them. For my PT exercises I made a list of all the exercises and check them off each day. The physical therapist was impressed with my graph paper chart…even took a picture to show others. You don’t have to do them all at once….just feels good to know you checked them all off by the end of the day. Now and then I do skip a day or two or three. 😌

😄 Trail Ridge is actually part of the mountain; can’t begin to tell you how many times i’ve been over it 💝 The plan was to open it this weekend, but that surprise snowstorm put the kibosh on that, not that it’ll stop folks from entering Rocky Mtn Nat’l Park, they’ll just be limited to the lower roads. And Estes Park should do a booming business.
Most of my pictures of it are in the winter; had to search for a summer photo 😏

Hello…last night we took our mom to a restaurant that she and my sister had never been to…as usual, she sits and complains about the prices..se didn’t have to go, my sister always tell her it might be a bit expensive…even though they split a meal and get one of the less expensive ones…I got the caprese grilled chicken sliders with fries and pasta salad…took home one to give to DH, also some sweet potato waffle fries. Good morning, DH decided not to go to eye Dr as he had stomach issues during the night…we have sun to be 73/57 today , but add 10-15 degrees . and you might get the right tempt’ always a guessing game anymore,.. Fires still burning a number of of firefighters have been hurt. LA reservoirs are empty, not having any rain sure isn’t helping.. and they just keep building… so sad.. Good morning. 💛 Sunshine early in the day, but clouds will return by afternoon. Our high temperature will be 64° I am still in a stressful mood with the Visa fraud. I can’t place Walmart order or buy anything online with no Visa card. We have always had only one credit card and pay it off when bill arrives. New Chase Visa card will arrive in about a week…..said 7 to 10 business days….but you know how that goes with the holiday. I am pretty much stocked up on all we need. We got ours in 2 days I paid the $15,. to have it over night, they don’t tell you this but I asked used to be $5.’’’we have a second credit card for emergencies…,so sorry you are going through this…hugs💕

Got two tax returns ready for the clients to pick up. Worked on bookkeeping for a client much of the rest of the day. Spoke to that same client on the phone about some payroll questions. Folded two loads of sheets that have been sitting here waiting for me. Why did I wait so long? Didn’t take that much time or work. Got deliveries from Chewy and from Imperfect Foods (now also Misfit Markets). Did my exercises. Still not sure how much good they are doing.
