This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.

DH will take the bandage off this afternoon….per doctors instructions. Sure hope no issues this time.

Slept in today. Did this and that and got ready to go to a bridal shower for a family friend. It was nice! Played some games, though they weren’t as silly as some you get at showers. Didn’t get to watch the opening of gifts though. The bride-to-be’s parents were in town for it so DH went to breakfast with the dad and I was happy to see her mom at the shower. I haven’t been to a shower in years but I remember the silly games…I think now they are better..and now sometimes the groom or dad to be (wedding shower, baby shower) is there, too. I remember mine was hot!!! in a church basement and the a/c had stopped working, poor people…
We played three games – Match photos of the couple with the list of places they were taken, pass a gift around the circle while the hostess reads the story of the couples courtship and pass the gift to the left or to the right whenever she says those words (including sound alikes such as “write”), guess the answers each person of the couple answered to certain questions (and the groom-to-be had been video-taped answering all the questions). In that last one, both moms won!

Howdy-do Lovely Owl People 🦉🦉 Couple of very warm days, upper 90s; now it’s raining & we should have a high of 73 tomo — be nice to give the A/C a break til 104 on Weds. 🙄 One of the volunteers at Recycling had cut up a lovely watermelon and was handing it out to the folks dropping off. Such a nice unexpected little treat 😋 Last night, talked to Sis for a couple hours; she had an MRI/CT, turns out she has a bulging disc that’s rubbing against a nerve; been going on since April 11. ..Good afternoon, well another day of 94 so far, and partly cloudy, but staying in and not going to do anything, as yesterday my foot swelled a lot even taking water pills I just took one now, most of the time one doesn’t work.. as it is 20mg and I need 40 mg… We will be BBQ for dinner…salmon Pattie’s, made Marconi salad this morning to go with them…. Heard from BIL and sister is very weak and he is getting help 3 times a week..he is so worn out…going to take a long time to recover from this bout…… Read more »

Chuck made a mac-salad earlier this week too; it was good. I like green onions, radishes along with celery, hard-cooked eggs, mayo, mustard in mine. 😋
