This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Had PT this morning. Then home to work on applying for an ID# for a client’s trust. Then spoke to the client on the phone for a while and gave her the ID number. Researched some information for a meeting with a client tomorrow morning. Went to Costco to get my hearing aids cleaned, and picked up a few things. Went grocery shopping. Church this am. Then to the dump on the way home to drop off corrugated cardboard from boxes. Then worked on an email with questions for the client whose return I worked on yesterday. Also finished up the return for my client/friend I visit since I am going there later this week and I got the last piece of information I was waiting for since my last visit. It appeared that Mikey hurt his leg, but he is now putting full weight on it, so whatever happened was temporary. Dia is home and being stubborn and not willing to follow much medical advice. She is mostly bedridden and doesn’t follow advice regarding avoiding bed sores. One caregiver called 911 because she could not get a blood pressure, but it turned out her equipment was faulty. The EMTs still recommended Dia go to the hospital, which of course she refused. She doesn’t even listen much to Lucy which is difficult for her. Lucy is her POA, but since Dia… Read more »

My Dad was raised in an orphanage & family was everything to him. All the silly holidays we ‘celebrate’ during the year: Donut Day, Cat Day, Dog Day, Vanilla Milkshake Day, (his fave) etc, etc. would have served him well. Absolutely any excuse to get the family together. He’s been gone over 40 years and I still miss him every day.

Hello…a rainy day here..at my petsitting job I played with the dogs before it started coming down harder..don’t think we’ll have a break in it so hope I can get them to potty later. I have a little gift bag of treats and cards from me, dogs, cats for DH..and we’ll take some treats and a card to FIL later. DH isn’t grilling because of the rain but we did have breakfast at McD’s..not sure what else we’ll have or do..
I used to just carry Rose out into the rain and put her down far enough away that she would have to go on the way back to the house (if she refused to go out and I knew it had been a long time since she had been out.) Can only do that with a small dog though.
