Slept in a bit. Did a load of laundry and folded it. Missing one sock. Cleared up a credit card issue. Worked on tax planning with a client, and researched and then discussed a payroll issue with another client. Went grocery shopping, and got two wreaths for the gates. Will put them up later this week. Also got some stocking stuffers for the local Union Gospel Mission for their children’s outreach. Got a curtain I ordered for our transom, and it isn’t the right size. Will return and see if I can find a different one. Watched Tracker and then… Read more »

Chris, can you tell if it was the washer or the dryer that got hungry?

I usually find the missing one in my closet next to the laundry basket, guess I miss the basket sometimes.

I checked the hamper and around it, and the dryer and washer, and the floor around where I was sorting. It’s one of mine and a pair of which I only have one set of that style, and I like it!

Good evening our friends, today I went to the wound care doctor and they said it was healing, but I don’t see any difference and it really hurts tonight. I think it’s because she used the gauze was saturated with saline solution to clean out the wounds and that sends me through the roof.. so I have been in a lot of pain tonight.i made appointments for eye surgery in Feb, earliest I could get..DH made apppt for another MRI and then may get pain shots.. will see he has 2 appts..in Jan.. if an opening sooner they will call..… Read more »

How painful to have the saline solution applied to clean your wound.😖 Remembering the saying “salt on wound” ouch!!! Does the doctor tell you to limit your activities? Seems you do so much with your painful ankle. I know it is hard, but try and rest your foot.
Good your have made appointment for your eye surgery and your DH MRI. Sorry he is still having back pain.
We had eggs for dinner last night too.
You both take care.💕

Good evening…had some more yukky weather, snow and sleet…don’t know if it stopped yet. My sister and I went out to the book store, farm store, and had lunch at a little restaurant/deli. (gourmet grilled cheese and tomato florentine soup)…we headed back to my house when it started sleeting, and had some tea. Since then she’s been decorating for Christmas at our mom’s house..I have to wait for DH to bring the totes down from the attic, maybe in a day or two. Watching the Disney Christmas special.

It was good the roads were clear enough for you and your sister to do some shopping and enjoy a delicious lunch.

DH had a hard time getting to sleep last night – his attached glucometer didn’t want to calibrate, which basically makes it useless. You have to test with test strips and then tell the attached glucometer what the test strips say and it either adjusts to that or doesn’t. If the stupid thing things it is too far off, it will refuse to accept the new figure. Anyway, he tries not to go to sleep until it has gotten to the point where it agrees with the test strips, which made for a sleepless night. So he didn’t go to… Read more »
