The first barn owl egg has officially hatched on “Barn Owl Florida Cam 2”!
Hello…did this and that today…my helper came and shoveled. Tonight we went out to eat for my mom’s birthday..the restaurant was ok, a family style restaurant but we were trying to find online a nicer one..oh well…many restaurants are closed on Monday, also Tuesdays..some are only open Wed or Thurs through Saturday or Sunday. Going to make some tea and watch the DWTS Christmas show..and maybe later a holiday movie with my sister.

We are watching DWTS Christmas show, and will watch CMA Christmas country show.. how nice to take your Mom out to dinner.. and there are lots of Christmas shows to watch.. I tape some to watch at a later date…… enjoy your sister…
Good afternoon, a cool 68 degrees today…slightly overcast, with breezy winds… staying in today as my ankle was very painful.. no over counters pain meds are not helping anymore.. Took my pain pills from Dr,, not working…. Not any sleep last night…
Have to take DH to La Jolla tomorrow for his eye…appt..not looking forward to that….
DB called and they got 5 in of snow, so he was out plowing out their long driveway in 29 degree weather.
Going to go and rest…

Howdy-do Lovely Owl People 🦉🦉 It’s been so cold here; got down to 9 degrees overnight; at least those 9 degrees were on the plus side 🙄 let’s not forget there was also snow on the ground; supposed to get about 2 inches of said snow again on Weds ❄🌨 Heading to 50 today; of course it’ll get there just before sunset, when the temps will drop like a stone😟 Thursday’s a big day for us; we get new internet service; faster and cheaper; both of which makes me very happy. Cute cartoon! Yay for faster and better (and cheaper) internet service!! When DD was young, DH used to play with her with her Barbies and Barbie had a small computer and he would always have whoever he was holding say that they wanted “Faster internet access”. Of course, he is a computer guy, so it has always been important for him. Basically it is never fast enough!
I’m with DH on internet speed; it should be so fast, we don’t even notice. When i worked at the phone co; it seemed to be instantaneous; not like everything i’ve had to use since, UGH.
I have two winter coats and they are so heavy.
Just ordered a light weight fluffy jacket from Amazon. Silver grey. has a hood.
No zipper to deal with….just a few buttons.

it’s cute..zippers break for me sometimes, I think buttons are better. It does look light, hope it’s warm enough…I have to have really warm ones but then I take dogs out and today I even did some shoveling, ugh…
Nice! My year round weather coat has a both way zipper and sometimes it is so hard to get it started.😣 But it works as both a rain coat and a coat for cold here, and has a hood (a requirement due to rain). So otherwise, it is a great coat. Wouldn’t be good for heavy snow or hanging around in the snow (like skiing or sledding) – but we don’t get that very often. I have a down coat for that.
Zippers make me crazy; my latest repair consists of a giant clamp on the sweatshirt i wear to feed the cats; guess they don’t care as long as the food/water dishes are filled😉
