This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Howdy-do Lovely Owl People 🦉🦉 Well, no new wi-fi for me today 😔 Poor installer got out here and there’s about 3 inches of snow on the ground, as well on the roof of the house, had to reschedule to Monday morning. We’re only about 20 mins from their office; it just meant i had to get up early and naturally didn’t sleep ‘worried’ about getting up. now i get to do it again 🙄

Good afternoon…doing this and that today…just finished an Avon order and now maybe I’ll set out some Christmas bears and other stuffed animals, all Christmas ones. Still waiting for DH to bring down my totes and tins with decorations. He’s resting in his office..had a headache and tired…I was thinking maybe we could go to Aldi and to FIL’s tonight (I didn’t see him last week) but we’ll see how he feels then. It was -1 when I got up this morning, supposed to be colder tonight.

Today is National Cookie Day. Every year I would make Cream cheese filled cookies like my mom did. (Polish Kolaczki cookies) I stopped making them two years ago. They were so delicious. A picture of cookies I made in the past.
Walmart order will arrive soon. More Cosmic Apples to enjoy. (taste like Honeycrisp….but we like better)

To the VA today and Steve had pictures taken of his one eye which was dilated and then he got his flu shot, but then he could not walk anymore because of his back so they took him to the front and in a wheelchair while I went and got the car in a parking garage. What a day you had yesterday. So sorry your DH is having so much pain. It was good they took him to the front door in a wheelchair. I think he will feel less pain if he has injection in his spine. I had to have an MRI before they could do the injection. I am also sorry that you had to miss going to Urgent Care with all that was going on. I hope you will go today. Coffee and Bible with my friends this morning. One friend had a cold and stayed home, but she attended using Microsoft Teams (video conference). We were at the house of someone who had an account he used for business, so we tried it. Then errands – bank, Wild Birds Unlimited, and dropped of stocking stuffers for the Unions Gospel Mission. Generator service guy came by this afternoon and did maintenance and then tested it. It works now! The red light had come on in the last few weeks, so it needed servicing. We have a service contract for our generator. They come once a year to check it out and oil change. Once we needed a new battery….very expensive. Our generator starts up every Wednesday for a test. Results go to our generator company. They also know how much propane we have and when it needs to be filled.
We are having them come annually, and it does test weekly, but they do not get info. It’s been there a long time and I think a newer one might connect to their system more directly.
Good idea to have the generator checked annually.
