Slept in. Did two loads of laundry and folded them. Cleaned out cat fountain and recharged battery. Put up my electric candles in the windows. Backed up 2024 tax returns to PDFs. That is so even if I don’t have the same software in the future, or it won’t run because it is too old, I can still have a digital copy of the tax returns. Good late evening almost ready for bed but wanted to get a chat out to you before I went as I am doing greeting tomorrow at church. I was supposed to do it tomorrow but not make it so she called me and asked if I be willing to do it, of course , today I put away all the fall and Thanksgiving decorations, and got out some Christmas decorations that I had here inside the house. Howdy-do Lovely Owl People 🦉🦉 Did a big recycle run. The snow was melting at an alarming rate; looked like it was raining in front of the door to the recycle building. I backed the car all the way in to keep the volunteers from getting soaked while trying to get stuff out of the trunk. Good afternoon…we went to the indoor Christmas farmer’s market and part of the outdoor market, bought some jams and treats for gifts…also got stamps at the P.O. DH brought down some decorations, still waiting for the big tote.

Good morning friends ♥ Temperatures well below freezing last night. Black ice areas causing accidents early this morning. We have a light dusting of snow here and there. A cloudy day with a high of 40.
I will be making homemade coleslaw….store bought is easier, but full of salt. There is a recall on shredded cheese and Walmart was one of the stores. (metal pieces) I have all the code numbers and will check several 8 oz packages I have. Tortilla pizza for dinner tonight.

My mom used to make coleslaw and it has always been the best I have ever tasted. The stuff at restaurants and at the grocery store has never measured up.
I like the cole slaw at KFC but most places it’s kind of blah.

Only so-so compared to mom’s. I must admit that it was the only kind I had had until I was maybe in my teens, so my taste adapted to it.

This morning I refilled the bird and squirrel feeders. Did a load of laundry. Backed up 2 years of tax returns as PDFs. Updated and almost entirely rewrote my WISP (Written Information Security Plan). Gave to DH to proofread and give me suggestions for technical corrections. Took an Amazon refund to the UPS Store, and then went grocery shopping. DH and I watched Sheriff Country, Fire Country, and Boston Blue. Temps today 47 to 56 – light rain on and off all day.
