This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Good evening, we are setting out on the deck, sun left this afternoon around 4pm.. now cloudy, humidity around 40%,, today was 95 , was that yesterday and day before after a couple days of 100+… so tired of it, and this is only Mid July.. glad we don’t have smoke any more. I talked with my sister yesterday and she said the smoke was bad in Ohio.. Colorado’s women’s soccer team the Summit FC won their sold-out game today. While Denver’s building their own stadium, they’re using a borrowed field.
The high school mascot for Rocky Ford is called the Meloneers; a nod to our status as the melon capital. This season, the girls gymnastics team came in 5th Statewide; not bad, representing a school the size of a postage stamp. The RF Chamber of Commerce thought they deserved their own mascot: The Melonettes; both cute and tough 💗 I love the bows on her shoes.

Hello 🙋 Not a good weather day for us.☂⚡ Forecast: Morning showers, then periods of strong thunderstorms, damaging winds, large hail and possible tornado. Flash floods in the mix too. 😮 We will be weather aware all day and through the night. Kind of scary for a worry wort like me. 😫I will be saying prayers to keep us safe. 🙏

We had one bad thunderstorm….no damage….just a bad thunderstorm.
The rain has cleared the smoke…….that is a blessing.
Worked on finalizing a return I got the final information for. Did some more payroll taxes. Went to Value Village with DH to drop off some donations and a broken TV. Then went grocery shopping and got gas. Home to pick up the mail and there were our ballots for the primary in August. Shortly after we got home, the power went out. Yay for my UPS – I could close my computer down slowly. Power was out for about 2 hours.
