The party went well, I’ll send a couple pictures to Chris…then last night DH and I went on a music/boat cruise..tonight we’ll go out to dinner. I went to church this morning but no outside service, bummer, because of the air quality..the worship team was really good. Time to feed the dogs..

Funny story for all of us who ‘allow’ our devices to rule our world including mistakes 🙄 My late BFF/Charlene could not spell to save her life; throughout our careers at the phone co, i proofread everything, even we worked in different departments; this was years before spellcheck. One time I used voice-to-text and did not check it. Luckily it was only to DH. I was volunteering at “For Heaven’s Sake Wildlife Animal & Rescue” and had finished my shift and was heading home to fix dinner. I said “Leaving For Heaven’s Sake”. What he got was “Leaving for having XXX”. You can guess the last word. 😁😮 😂😳

Hello 💜Mostly sunny today with smoke and haze drifting in at times. A much clearer day. High temperature 81° Yesterdays storms cleared most of the smoke and we have a much cooler Sunday. A good day to do some simple cooking. I will fry up diced potatoes and sweet onions in olive oil and a few sprays of PAM. Makes for a good side dish. Chicken parm for dinner tonight. Had a hair appointment today to get my gray roots covered up. Ran errands on the way home – gas (for my car this time), berries, and then toner cartridges for my printer. Home to work on bookkeeping and payroll taxes. Client stopped by to pick up payroll tax forms to sign and mail. Did some dishes. Got a call from a friend in Florida telling me one of my clients has had a stroke. Not much else to tell.
