This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.

Well we had an exciting morning, if you want to call it that. I heard Rick get up around 11a; i could hear him behind me doing his routine. The next thing i heard was a small crash; he had fallen and couldn’t get up. I was screaming for Chuck to help me get him up. After getting him to the sofa, i called 9-1-1; Five EMTs were here in about 3 mins. We think he had a mini-stroke/TIA; 3 EMTs were talking to him; he couldn’t remember his name — that’s what almost sent me over the edge. Here… Read more »
Chuck’s home, Rick’s being sent to the full-size hospital, Parkview, in Pueblo tonight. He really can’t stand on his own. They brought him a good meal, chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and fried okra that he had to eat with his left hand.

So scary and then you have to snap to attention and make the right decisions.
I am glad Rick got the proper care and is doing so much better. I will keep him in my prayers for good recovery.
Yes, I am the same way. During the emergency I am strong, but after emergency part is over…. I fall apart. 😥

I don’t think I told the story yet….so I was in the kitchen at FIL’s house, getting a piece of pizza and chatting with the caregivers…was going to go back into the living room and could not believe my eyes!! DS was walking in and I was in total shock! We had texted a few days before and I was saying how he’s far away..and my sister just left so she wouldn’t be coming. Hello 💙 A stormy day here in PA. Forecast says we will have severe storms throughout the day. Gusty winds and some flooding too. Storms will be of the hit or miss variety. Hope they miss us. I am going to check the radar and take my shower early this morning. Storms will be worst towards evening. Bad storms went south of us. Whew!!!
I am proud of DH for learning how to use a washer and do laundry at age 82.
Laundry day wears us both out….team work and we getter done💕.

We had our book and coffee meeting today because of people’s schedules. 2 of us were virtual and three were in person. Had to leave early for my massage appt which is nearby. Did I mention that my diaphragm is sore from the sneezing fit I had last week? I know that can happen because of coughing, but never had it before from sneezing. Then went to Costco, then to regular grocery store, then to pharmacy to get prescription. Home for a late lunch. It was like a 5 minute sneezing fit! Never had that happen before. Or since. Trying to avoid it!
