This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Good morning 💛 Lots of sunshine this morning. Some clouds will move in this afternoon. A high temperature of 85° Early morning has been cool enough to open windows. (66° at 8:30 am) I will turn on whole house fan to circulate the fresh air. Gets warm fast….windows will be closed by 10am. Very unusual for us to have low humidity and cooler temperatures in the middle of summer.
Today will be laundry day….that’s about it for us as far as chores go.

Got signatures for a tax return today and filed it. Finished up payroll and excise taxes for a client. Done with all of them due July 30th! Worked a bit more on another tax return and will followup on some remaining questions tomorrow. Washed a big blanket that Arya had slept on in DH’s office for the 3 weeks the dogs were here and got her hair all over it. Came out pretty good – I brushed as much off first as I could. Good afternoon…we took Bane for a long walk at a park and then ate at a root beer stand (drive in)…it’s so nice out. I’m a bit tired, think I’ll relax here on my porch..

I did! but a couple days ago I saw on FB that they’d run out of root beer! To eat I had a bbq sandwich and we shared fries.
That is funny….root bear stand running out of root beer.
Just like in Boston….a pub running out of beer during the soccer games.

Howdy do Lovely Owl People 🦉🦉 Another 100 degree day, along with some serious humidity. Poor Chuck was melting while trying to get his car over to Discount Tire so they could remove a large bolt from one of the tires & get it patched up 🙄 Rick’s hanging in there, very slow improvement; we’re just waiting on insurance approval to start OT/PT. Hi Pam…I used to use a toilet cleaner that had hydrogen peroxide in it but now I can’t find it in the stores..glad the toilet got cleaned, lol
Glad Rick is improving….every little bit is a good sign. Hope his insurance comes through fast with PT/OP approval soon.
Great deal with Direct TV. Poor Chuck…..dealing with having to repair tire in hot weather.

It’s Thursday……Hello. 💛 Beautiful weather for us the next few days. After all the storms and heat waves….we sure deserve some nice w.eather. Sunshine with a high of 82°. Our average is 88° so they may call this a “cool wave” Today is National Vanilla Ice Cream Day.🍦 One of my favorite flavors. Never got under the fridge vacuumed…..you have to lay on the floor for that task and we are not up for that.😣 So let it be. Hope to tackle the stove drip trays ….clean and replace liners. Finished paying bills. Worked on two self study courses for Continuing Professional Education – passed both. Figured out that I have enough hours now for AZ, but I have another class I paid for on the 30th so I’ll wait until them to submit my registration. The deadline is the 31st, so I must remember! Marked on my calendar and all. Also answered questions for a client reviewing their tax return and finally got the tax planning done for another client, who has had trouble understanding what information I needed from her previously. Yea, I passed the eye test, I could read the letters sitting in the waiting room chairs until I got called.. read all three charts was a breeze…such a difference, last time there they were blurred.. on way home in a distance over a mountain I saw so much smoke, got home and looked on Fire Duty it was burning in Ramona which is up in the mountains… a lot of evacuations are being done… it is a mountain town east of San Diego.. was a scary sight,, so much smoke.. another fire broke out north of us,, it stayed… Read more »
