This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Good afternoon…went to church this morning. We are under a heat advisory today and tomorrow. The music was fun last night..there was a twist contest and my mom was one of the winners, she won fuzzy dice 😀 Dh is working at the cemetery…if there is time later, maybe we can get ice cream..or maybe just watch Bane play in the sprinkler.

Hello 🙋 A lovely sunny morning with a high of 84°. PGA golf has been fun to watch. ⛳ So many new young players doing so well. Jackson Koivun, 21 from NC is making a statement with his golf talent. Hoping he will win the 3M Open today. Cleaning the electric stovetop….is not included in cleaning ladies duties.🙄 So far I have soaked and scrubbed the drip trays. Those are part of a “deep cleaning” appointment costing extra. $$$ I can understand why.
I understand that; i’d charge an arm and a leg to clean a stove like that 🤔

Yeah, I used to use those disposable liners. It was the only way to go as far as I was concerned with a former gas stove. Don’t really have a problem with this stove. Don’t know why, but these drip trays are easier to clean and reach (flatter) I think. Plus, no pilot light, just an automatic lighter, so they are not hot all the time like the old ones were.
Didn’t know when septic guys were going to get here but they call when they are on their way. We hadn’t heard by 4:30 so we figured they were not going to come today. But we got a call about 5 and they showed up about 6 pm. Pumped the gunk out, inspected it, put in some stuff to clean it out, and found that the float wasn’t working properly. Had household stuff to do today so we didn’t go see Rick; we’ll go on Sunday. When Chuck was leaving on Friday, he asked Rick if he wanted anything; Rick said “More Candy”. 😂 He only brought 5! Dad had a sweet tooth like that too.

Good afternoon…we took Bane to the Farmer’s Market, farm store, and then we went to Aldi…bought treats at the market, a strawberry lemon scone and cookies called Oh My Goodness! with a lot of yummy things in them. We got dog treats at the farm store, cat food, and nuts. Got cream and butter at Aldi. oh, and hamburger patties to grill. I’m just hanging out, relaxing now until music in the park tonight, fun oldies. I’m enjoying the porch now before my helper arrives to mow.
Tonight sounds like so much fun 😊 I take it Mom’ll be there dancing the night away 💃

The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park (where the Shining was filmed & i spent my honeymoon) charges $3 for one of their specialty/extra large ice cubes; that was in addition to the price of the drink. I didn’t pop for it, but my friend did; she had a martini.
