Another hot quiet day 😏 Chuck grilled sockeye salmon, & got fresh lemons and mushrooms and Tiramisu for dessert 😋 Rick doesn’t care for salmon nor lemon; so weird. So we have to make hay while the sun shines!
i think my raving about how good a friend’s Walleye looked might have had something to do with Chuck getting salmon — and I thanked her 💗

Good early afternoon we have had extreme Heat warning — 101 right now; humidity at 20% several more fires going’ . Been on the news about Spokane WA so sad so many house’s burned! We received information to keep all our hoses for water outside rolled up, as wildlife are starting to appear searching for water, a lot of people have had their hoses chewed up.. looking for water, ring cams showing , raccoons, gophers, coyotes, etc, and mountain lions are appearing more and more. Wow that is bad! Chewing hoses!! . Almost makes you want to leave a couple shallow pans of water out in the back yard for animals. Course they would evaporate pretty fast. Or build a pond.
Good morning 💜 Another cloudy day with a high temperature 87°. By evening thunderstorms with heavy rainfall is expected. Thankful to have rain during mid summer.☂ So many wildfires in many states due to dryness. Wildfires in PNW are in the news today. 😒
Think I will take my shower this morning while thunderstorms are not active. Need to wash my hair too. That will about do me in. 🙄

Hi Tea…we had rain on and off yesterday so that’s good. Sometimes mid to late summer can be so dry. I should do less work in the summer but there’s always so much to do..
One of our friends lives near Spokane and had to evacuate. Eastern Washington is often very dry – some areas are considered desert. But this is the first time we have heard of fires so close to him.
Nice you have golf to watch, DH bummed no NASCAR races today…to hot to do anything outside , but I find things to do.. Did you hear about the lady that is 103 and she wanted to Sky Dive before she turned 104,,, she loved it… hmmmm not me..lol

Welcome to August!!
Slept in a bit, though not as much as yesterday. Worked on a list of assets and a financial projection for a client, and also worked on a tax return and sent some followup questions. Did a load of laundry and folded some more from yesterday. Refilled bird and squirrel feeders. Got two signature forms in the mail and a payment, so filed those returns.
