I thought Julian pie was a type of pie I’ve never heard of (like apple pie) so I googled it and turns out it is the brand name, duh…you had the perfect summer dinner

Yes it is named for the mountain town, they grow all their own fruit to bake in their pies.. I am still trying to find the strawberry rhubarb pie.. they are the only ones that sell it…. Years ago Mrs Smith made them, they no longer make pies…they were sold in grocery stores,,

This no-bake cheesecake is from Masstown Market in Nova Scotia; they even make their own doughnuts. Both times i visited, we made sure we made a stop here. They always post the best-looking/sounding food 😋

That cheesecake looks delicious.
When my grandchildren were young…..I would buy the Jello No Bake cheesecake mix. I would help them make it and it was always a big hit. Tasted pretty good too. I may buy one soon for my simple meals….😆

I used to get the no-bake cheesecake mix and just make the cheese part for dessert (sometimes with Jello on top) for DH after we found out he should not have gluten.

Good morning 💛 A bright sunny day with temperature rising to 87°. We need a sunny day to dry things out after yesterdays heavy rains. Our area got over 4 inches of rain. Our sixth heatwave will start Thursday.😏 Today is International Owl Awareness Day. This observance highlights owl conservation and is recognized globally. We celebrate owls, educate their ecological importance and raising awareness of threats such as habitat loss, rodenticides and climate change. I know owls changes my life……Moly and McGee brought so many of us together. Forever MOD’s. Prayers for all those in need. 🙏 Safe travels for… Read more »
