Good morning friends ♥ Partly sunny with a high of 44. Not so bad, but much colder weather on the weekend.
Chore of the day will be laundry. Cleaning lady has still not rescheduled….I hope she is feeling better.
Sorry to say I still have not started Christmas cards. I really like writing out the cards, but just not in the mood yet.

funny cartoon….I wish I could do laundry at home; I live in an apartment and there is no way to put in a washer and dryer…card exchange seems to be getting less and less through the years 😞
Yes, not many send cards now. The price of a stamp costs more than a card sometimes. 🙄
I am sorry you have to lug all your laundry to a laundromat….those washer and dryer prices are very high. $$ too. (((hugs)))
the one I go to the washers are 5 dollars for one normal sized load to wash and depending how long you want them to dry usually comes to 1 dollar for me
wow…that is expensive for the washer. Dryer price seems cheaper. Here at home it takes about 45 minutes to dry a load with towels, etc.
yeah I really hate going there especially in the wintertime, the washers just went up from 3.75 to 5 dollars a few months ago
YIKES! Five bucks is a lot for a normal washer. Before we moved to this house, i went to the laundromat every 2 weeks. It was $5 for the triple washers and about a buck for the dryer.

funny cartoon! when we first moved here, I went to the laundromat with DS..we’d take snacks and play a game, read, whatever…we made it kind of fun…my mom washed some for us…my dad, I guess got tired of her doing that and “hinted” that DH should hurry up and buy and install a washer and dryer…it was only a few weeks! and I did my mom’s laundry for months when she was in rehab…
Put out a snowman on the front deck and a large poinsettia artificial by the door outside’’’ The snowman lights up. But haven’t done that part yet’ I worked on some Christmas card for relatives today…,I slept in as was up during the night for 2 hrs. I am taking a pain pill each night. I had shoulder replacement surgery on my non-dominant side several years ago; it’s painful as is any surgery aftermath. If he does his PT diligently, he’ll be good as new before he knows it.

Spent much of the day changing important passwords out of an abundance of caution. Folded laundry from prior two days. Set up nativity scene. Filled travel pill cases. Used treadmill. Put some owl lights someone gave me outside my office door. Downloaded library books for my trip. Put out a few other decorations. Watched NCIS shows. DH arrived home this evening. Temps 51 to 52. Mostly just cloudy, but some rain as evening came. Heavy rain expected tomorrow.
