Hello friends ♥ The calm before the storm here in PA. Snow expected to start tonight into tomorrow morning. 2 to 5 inches. The heavier snow will be south of us. Cleaning lady has not rescheduled….so DH is vacuuming now. I will call her Monday. I hope she is feeling better. With my Walmart in home membership, I also get free shipping from store. Some items did not come in my weekly in home delivery, but in stock for shipping. Four items will be delivered today. I always leave a tip for the driver on bench outside our front door… Read more »

I kind of like to vacuum….if DS was here, that would be his job though, he loved vacuuming.

Hello…went on a candlelight tour at a historic mansion last night…was beautful and interesting..there were cookies and hot chocolate before you left. Today might go out for a bit, mini market, a store or two…snow later and tonight below zero temps, yuck..

Just dropping in to let know I may not be on for a while. I had a mishap tonight when I got home from wound care and stopped at a store. Got home and taking a bag. Prurse and my hands full. Dropped something in front of me and tripped and fell flat face on the driveway’. Nose bleeding like crazy. Nose skinned up, ‘’ young mother next door came right over as she just got home and a lady across the street’’she called medics’ and I went ER . Did a facial and head X-rays’’ DH arrived and Dr… Read more »

We were able to donate some things and deliver some things, so we got at least 4.5 items off his list and one off mine (and there was only one on mine – estate paperwork signed, notarized, and delivered to lawyer’s office). The items from his list were mostly easier things, but one has to start somewhere. There are some that are too complex and won’t get done this trip, or done the way he hopes, so it is best to start with some wins. Back hurting I think from using my laptop in the family room on Tuesday on… Read more »

Chuck brought me some black licorice red vines the other day; black jelly beans are my faves. However, i’ve been known to eat too many of them, too much sugar, the sticks last longer and i don’t have to feel so guilty 😏
Tea, do you ever wonder about this ↓↓

Good morning friends ♥ Sunny today with a high of 36°. Our normal highs are in the upper 40’s. Snow expected Saturday night into Sunday morning. About 3 inches expected. DH will check the snow blower and may have to buy some gas for it. Our lawn service guy Charles will do heavy snow removal for us. Walmart order arriving late morning. I bought a few gifts for DH….so he has to stay away when order comes. Also bought two gift boxes of Pepperidge Farm cookies for Alice and family. I will buy more treats for them for their weekend… Read more »
