This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.

Good afternoon, sunny temp at 84 to get to 88 this afternoon, it is 12:10 pm right now. I didn’t post yesterday was beat by dinner time. DH & I cleaned patio off and side of house again, the winds stopped yesterday early afternoon DH got rid of large items in back yard. I hope today is more restful with your DS visit to help with back yard cleanup. We have a lot of pine needles in back corner that my DH wants to work on….but he has been having some pain with hernia….so I told him to just let them be.

Good Monday morning friends 🍂 Mornings have been very cold. Warming up to 66° late afternoon. Alice brought over a surprise birthday treat. Her DH Rudy baked his famous Apricot bread and gifted me with a warm loaf. DH enjoyed the first slice….since I don’t eat after dinner….I enjoyed two slices with my morning coffee today. Delicious!!! I told Alice I would share a few slices with DH. 😄 I sliced the rest of the loaf, wrapped each slice and put in freezer. I have learned to space out the goodies. I hope Chris is enjoying her break. Lovely day, reached 75 after an overnight low of 36. Not much going on; did fill out my ballot; after much waffling on 1 of the amendments. we can take them to the drop off in La Junta starting Monday..

Today was a sunny, hot day, with a 90 degree day. Wind died down by 1pm. DH & I went out to see the damage. Our backyard is brown carpet of pine needles, parts of a palm tree, branches, twigs, even found a grocery bag in the lemon tree.. plants overturned, patio chairs knocked over, what a mess it all is. Winds were 30-50 mph winds constantly.. for 2 days..
