This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.

Good afternoon, we have a sunny warm day so far 84 degrees, glad our humidity is 48 %, that will help the fires..and there isn’t any wind, think we had enough of that to last a lifetime. Lol Yes I am taking it easy today, DS had everything cleaned up last evening.. He is trooper, am so blessed to have him.. Gained a few pounds with before and after birthday goodies. I space them out…..but the pounds show up. 🙄
Water slow to drain in bathroom sink. I will do my little trick…..pour 1/2 cup Dawn dish soap down drain….wait a few hours and the slowly pour a gallon on boiling water down the drain. Most of the time this works to have the drain empty faster. If not….DH will work on it.

The Dawn will work if it is due to grease – I also put some extra Dawn down if I happen to empty or rinse a pan with too much grease.
Yes, I use Dawn also for any grease that goes down the drain,
Great grease cutter.
I put a few drops of dawn in fry pan after cooking and wipe with paper towel before washing.
I find it helps with the watered down toothpaste that goes down bathroom drain.
It did work……☝

Was an another warm day 85, we had a busy day, DS got here at 2:30, finished writing up remodels and sent into the company he works for. He and I worked in back yard , Iwas in the shade and had to stay out of the sun, my ankle was hurting due to me being on it working outside..DS filled 2 large containers and 3 med size trash cans. So I can’t list everything in one post, but I’ll do it a bit at a time. We left on Friday and dropped the dogs at a kennel and a friend came to stay at the house with Arya. She lives with her aunt & uncle and they were having company so it worked out just fine. She works Friday and Monday so she wouldn’t be able to handle the dogs’ needs as well, plus we didn’t want to add more tension to the animal drama. Not quite as cold as it’s been the last few days; 43 overnight, reaching 75 this afternoon; a lovely sunny autumn day. Chuck put the winter cover over the A/C compressor. Kitty met with the cremation guy; got everything set up so neither Cody/Chelsea will have that to deal with when the inevitable happens. He’s located in Colo Spgs; she sent me the guy’s contact info so i can do the same; it’s such a wonderful gift for those left behind. Beautiful granite bench will hold 4 cremations….DD and Mark will probably use the other two.
