Good morning friends 💙 A gloomy day with showers all day. We could get an inch of rain. High temperature will be 44°. Thankful for milder temperature and not having snow.❄
Watched ice skating last night. I think ice skating championships are beautiful. However, I find all the advertisements all around the rink and on the ice is very distracting. It takes away from the beauty of the sport. All about the money. $$$
Time to fill up pill/vitamin cases again.

I find the ads very distracting..👀…can’t miss them.
guess I know they are there but focus more on the skaters so don’t really look at them.

Used the treadmill today. Then went to bank to close DB’s estate acct and get papers notarized. Then to grocery store. Then to hairdresser to get my roots done. Worked on puzzle with DH. He has worked on it a bot when I was busy elsewhere and he had gotten a lot done, and we got more done tonight. Close to finishing. DH had a periodontist appt this morning and he is discouraged. yes, Splash or maybe flavored seltzer water, that’s what we drink.
He has switched to taking a drink of pop and then a drink of water and swishing out his mouth. Should have done that years ago, but he always said he didn’t like drinking water. Well, now he does it anyway. Also has switched to drinking more root beer, which is less acidic.
Good evening our friends woke up at 5:30 this morning to 38degrees ice on windows, I took a pain pill and went back to bed..lol Shut up three hours later and it was still only 51, cloudy and very windy through Sunday, later we have a little sunshine, but it didn’t last very long, our high today was 60. Good afternoon. Well, it is cloudy now and showers close by. Rain all weekend too.
Update: DH went to Beltone. This is the third time in 18 months that hearing air has stopped working.
Beltone sent his hearing aid out for repair again. 🙄
He has a “loaner” hearing aid now that is working well for him. PTL
They said they will try to issue him a brand new hearing aid, since this one has failed three times.
Glad he was able to get a loaner. Hope he gets a new one.
Hopefully DH will get a new hearing aid , they need to make it right’’’ and glad he got a loaner. Stay warm and dry🩷

Handyman Charles is busy and will check the porch soffit as soon as he has free time.
DH hearing aid quit on him early last evening.😥 I called Beltone this morning …. he has appointment for 1pm today. ( Left ear is completely deaf….right ear is almost deaf. He wears one hearing aid in his right ear.) I hope he can get a loaner….if hearing aid needs to be sent out for repair.

my FIL also is almost deaf in one ear, deaf in the other…sometimes we write words on a white board, not fun to be yelling and he can’t hear the words that are yelled much, anyway Have a nice day, Tea 💕
Exactly same experience. I have a white board too. It is not fun to be yelling all the time when the hearing aid is not working. I felt so sorry for him last night.

Sometimes when a hearing aid seems to quit it just needs cleaning. At least that happens for me. Hope that is the case here.
DH takes very good care of his hearing aid.
He cleans it often and uses ear wax remover in his ear.
Good late evening I am about ready to turn in and get some sleep. It is pretty chilly outside. It’s like 41 Today was 54 and tomorrow is to be colder. It was cloudy off and on . We do have a lot of wind and that is continuing till the 11th. I miss the rain.😢 Today I went to the DMV and got an extension until April 15 for my drivers license since my cataract surgery is February 25. I did sleep all night, I always wake up at 5:30, that is when I take my water pill , lol I usually go back to sleep waking up every hour to make a trip to the bathroom..
