Live Barn Owl Nest Box Cam – Dorset, UK
This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Did some more laundry (including that sweater) and folded it. Dealt with a number of financial issues. Went grocery shopping. Unwrapped and packed up items for 3 Operation Christmas Child boxes – all girls different ages. Need to pick up a few things tomorrow so they will be ready to take to church tomorrow. Watched Elsbeth again – since DH slept through it last night. Then watched Sherriff Country, Fire Country, and Boston Blue. Temps today 51 to 53. Rain all day.

Hi Chris…I had fun packing boxes, we had a packing party at our church, plenty of treats there too…only took maybe a half hour or so.
Good evening friends it is late and I’ll be going to bed pretty soon. We have had rain showers often on all day long and it’s supposed to rain all night and tomorrow..Donna could not do my hair today because she had to take her daughter to the ER. She was in a lot of pain so we’re going to do it tomorrow., I went to the wound care doctor this afternoon and they changed the bandages and put something different on the sores and it kinda looks better. Glad you are getting rian that is needed. We have friend’s whose son is in Mammoth, near the PACK fire. It seems it is now 18% contained. Take it easy.Maybe it will take a while for the pain to ease. His body isn’t used to being more upright anymore.
It is good that the wound care doctors has scheduled you to come in Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I pray that your wound will heal..🙏..it has been a long time for you. (((hugs)))
I am sorry that your DH is still in pain after his back surgery. Has he told this to his doctor? I suppose it may take time heal. Prayer for him too. 🙏Both of you take care of each other….like us.

Good evening…did a lot of walking today…walked the dogs, walked without the dogs, then DH left work early so we could walk at the cemetery and go to Culver’s..got chicken tenders and a pumpkin spice shake. He went back to work to finish up, guess I’ll see what’s on tv or maybe read…

Yay! Mule Team Borax did its job and saved my tan and cream sweater that I got the red hummingbird mix on!! 😀 I have found it works well on raspberry and strawberry stains too, so I hoped it would work on this. I often got those stains from carrying the fresh flats of berries after purchasing them at a roadside stand. I just dump a lot of it right on the spot as soon after the stain as possible and get it a bit wet and let it sit.

I use 1/2 cup Mule Team Borax in every load of wash as a booster. Works great!!!

I use it in whites when I use hot water. I find it doesn’t dissolve as well in cold.
Good. Morning a cool 66 ,cloudy, windy and a light shower.. was having showers when I went to bed last night.. Have a full day today, getting my hair done and wound care Dr appt..Tomorrow is to be the wettest.. so they say ..low temps at night low 50’s….hopefully the rain holds off until after my Dr appt as I need to do a few errands…

Good morning friends ♥ A sunny start to the day with clouds moving in this afternoon. Our high will be about 53.
We were both not having our best day yesterday. You know how it goes…somedays are better than others as you age. Managed to make us grilled cheese and tomato sandwiches on sourdough bread for dinner. I seem to be retaining water again.😥 CHF must be progressing. Visiting nurse comes this morning to check us out.
Beautiful fall colors looking out every window. 🍂 Thanksgiving is fast approaching.

Got up early this morning to take DH to his colonoscopy. He was pretty intense in talking to the staff because of his concerns, and his blood sugar was low when we got there, and he wasn’t allowed to eat or drink anything. They did get him on an IV with glucose so they could control thart, but not as fast as he would have liked. But the procedure went fine and they didn’t find any problems.
