Been watching the news on this. It is interesting that they were able to get this considering that the family did not have a subscription to have the data uploaded to the cloud. For better or worse, these types of technology are always watching. Kidnappers generally want to work fast, get the money, and then not have to try to hide a person any longer. Obviously, the longer this goes on the less likely a good outcome. apparently she is diabetic and if she is not being fed properly (if she’s even alive) that would be very dangerous for her, they said one of her meds left behind was metformin which makes me assume she is diabetic
guess I didn’t hear that..I did read about the heart and blood pressure meds.

Visiting nurse will be here soon. Water weight has not increased taking 2 40 mg. water pills a day. One in am and one late afternoon. I am a peeing machine. 😊

Iam on 40 mg a day if I see a change in weight am to take another later… my feet are still swollen, 80 degree weather does not help’’been trying to keep my feet up … tomorrow will find out what they are going to do.. now Kaiser is on nurses, pharmacy strike.. now I have to drive to a neighboring town for my medication., which I just found out yesterday….

Worked on sending out organizers and sending and answering questions to clients. Filed the first tax return of the season!! Did a load of laundry. Went grocery shopping and stopped at the post office to mail some items. Had to call my brother to help him figure out how to get back into his laptop, Somehow he had inadvertently logged or (or there was a power outage and his computer turned off). So hard long distance. Yes, they found kidney stones too large to pass last August. She has been trying to get this set up since she saw the urologist about a month later. Some of it was doctor office sluggishness, and some was DD’s sluggishness to push or follow-up. She had kidney stones about 10 years ago, but they thought that was due to not drinking enough water (which she definitely didn’t). She now drinks lots of water (having found the benefit of good hydration), so we don’t yet know the cause. Not really a family problem that we know of, though my dad… Read more »
I understand the frustration of trying to help someone with their computer long distance 😫 it will be great if you can get him a computer guy nearby…it’s great your friend trusts you to help her, that must have been scary for her when she got stuck between the wall and the bed lucky her phone was nearby or does she have a life alert? good luck to your daughter and the sonar treatment, from what I understand those kidney stones can be a real pain
Yes, she has life alert. I bet that is why they came. But the fire dept will only come a certain number of times for falls before they refuse. At some point they figure the person needs to either hire help or not live alone anymore.

Yesterday I went to church while DH went to OR to visit DBIL. I did some laundry, took down the Christmas candles in the windows and some decorations, and watched the Super Bowl 🏈as well as some Olympics (ice skating ⛸and skiing🎿). For dinner I had pizza 🍕and tortilla chips with guacamole salsa.

Good morning…thank you all for the birthday wishes…was busy and sorry that I didn’t come to thank you yesterday…it’s really different to be around people on my birthday! she’s about three 1/2 hours away. She’ll be back next month and usually comes for several days now, sometimes a week or so.
