This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
There is a hatch ‘at Mel & Syd.s. I just noticed it so not sure when it Happened

I’m embarrassed to say how nice our weather’s been; upper 60s-low 70s with plenty of sunshine; it’ll cool down a bit this weekend, but up in the low 80s by Monday 🙄

Poor Lynn, feeding geckos is not fun 😟 Nephew Cody has a lizard, along with a dog/cats; Kitty hates when they go out of town — UGH. I’d be paying Landon to do it now that he’s 13. Speaking of, when Cody/Laura’s youngest, Dominic, graduates this year, his gift is a trip to Vancouver/Victoria, then they’ll drive down to San Francisco and fly back home from there. I’m excited for them.

Wow that will be a nice trip, I have been to Vancouver twice always in the summer, I remember with my Ex when we went to the worlds Fair in Seattle we drove up at Vancouver and he drove on a floating road not sure exactly where, I just remember the floating rosado.. scared the hibee Jeebes out of me.. 🫨 64 yrs ago’’’ I agree Landon can feed them now… lol

Dental surgeon called last night to check on DH. He told me stiches are self dissolving and DH is to rinse his mouth several times a day with warm salt water. DH is doing very well. Thank you for your prayers.🙏
I will make egg salad for our lunch. Walmart delivered several soft food items…applesauce, yogurt, pudding cups etc. for DH to eat.

Good morning…got home later last night…had to feed the geckos at my job, ugghhh and EWWWW….DH went with me and did most of it…glad that’s over. Now I can just take care of the kitty, much more fun. We didn’t get to take food to FIL’s because of the feeding so maybe tonight…Wendy’s? or Taco Bell?…just my ideas. I’d better get going and start my day.
Glad your DH could help you with feeding the geckos. Most would not want to do that. Have fun with kitty.

worms, don’t like it, not a fun job for me
I guess working at a wildlife rehab it doesn’t seem so bad. Mealworms are a common bird food.

Coffee and Bible with friends this morning. Don’t think I will go for the next few weeks as I have too much work to do. Home to work on filing at least one tax return and then worked on some research for a client, and sorting through dental bills which got all messed up in 2025. Went to hairdresser to get gray covered. Then dinner and paying bills. Watch the Chicago crossover shows with DH. His back is now feeling not as good and he is frustrated.
