Shadow delivered separate fish to Sandy and Luna before the Big Bear siblings shared a heart-melting moment back at the nest.
On July 12, 2026, Jackie and Shadow fought over a fish at the Big Bear eagle nest. Jackie blocked Sandy, but Luna charged in and stole the remaining fish.
Sandy returned to the Big Bear eagle nest with a thunderous landing, claimed Shadow’s fish, and discovered something new near the camera.
Sandy and Luna faced one of their boldest tests yet on July 9, 2026, when a sub adult eagle flew straight at them with talons out. What happened next showed just how much Jackie and Shadow’s young eagles are learning.
Sandy and Luna spent a precious Big Bear day flying together, sharing sibling beakies, exploring the trees, and racing back when Shadow brought fish.
