A glorious sunny day but that NE wind is really strong today cuts you in half if you pock your nose outside. 45F top temp today dropping to Zero tonight so a first frost of them winter. I have my robe on and a blanket while on the couch this morning.
Rick bought a new filter for the furnace. In 2023 the price was $97 and this year it was $168!!! Too much of an increase.
So the furnace is ready to go!

But I have had to shut the blind a bit now as the sun is very low in the sky and shines right in my eyes at the moment.
I did step outside a moment ago to put a nbit of bird food on the ground but I did not stay long Brrrrrr.😘

Jenn, have you ever tried Lion Brand Wool-Ease yarn from Michaels? I wonder how the feel of it compares to your favorite Lucky Brand 50wool/50cotton?
Yes Kathy, I have used that type of yarn. It is nice but I really could only perfectly match the colors I had been using of the Lucky Brand. I think you meant could I add the Lion Brand to my project? It is hard to find a 50/50 blend usually the Lion Brand Wool-Ease is only 20% wool. I appreciate you thinking of me my friend. 💜
Lion Brand Wool-Ease yarn is 20% wool, with the rest of the blend being 80% acrylic. This blend provides the warmth and feel of wool with the easy-care properties of acrylic

Jenn, just saw your question…no it’s not like a float, blended so it’s just a root beer shake…not all places will make those.
Sometimes I like their flavors of the day and I get that, but I don’t always like them.

Kathy, to answer you from below, the lasagna with the no boil noodles was good. Just not as thick as the regular which I do prefer but they were good. I made 2 smaller pans and froze one to bake off another day. I made them in bread pans, just the right size for the 2 of us. They layer thicker in the bread pans. which I like.
Interesting you used bread pans. Glad you like the noodles…..there was something about them we didnt like them as well.
I didn’t like them as well for the thinness of them compared to the nice chewy regular lasagna.
