Good Morning! Sunny and 62 going up to 83. Winds SSW 10 to 18 mph. Craig’s ‘banding ligation’ procedure went very quickly. The appointment was scheduled for 3:50 PM and we were at the checkout desk by 4:00 PM. Craig has a follow-up appointment in about 4 weeks. Following the procedure Craig described a dull pain in the banded area (normal per the proctologist) but said it felt better than when he dealt with the actual hemorrhoids. Craig scheduled a sick day for today. Thursday was already a work-from-home day for the entire IT Dept to free up parking space… Read more »
Hi Kathy.
Very pleased that Craig’s procedure went well, hope it cures his problem now. 😘
Thank you ❤️
Hi Kathy
Glad to hear Craigs procedure was quick and went well. Hopefully he will be feeling great again soon.
Rick has a terrible time with hemorrhoids !!
Thank you ❤️
So glad Craig’s procedure went so well … and so quickly. Prayers for a complete recovery 🙏
Thank you ❤️
Good morning
I was just ordering our “OTC” Over the counter products from our insurance company that we get every three months. I had $10 in bonus points which =$55 and Rick had $60 bonus money so he got to spend $105…what a great deal!!!!
I walked and cleaned the house yesterday. Rick grilled a steak that we split.
We had some rain and could get more today. It’s pretty windy out now but warm…72°at 5:00am
I ordered a new vacuum yesterday from Walmart.
That is a smokin’ deal with all the free goodies you were able to get. 😍
Do you have a charcoal grill or gas? We have gas with the grill we took to Maine last year.
Let us know how the new vacuum works, the featherweight sounds very light to handle?
Rick has used gas for many years now. I have used the Bissel stick broom for years. It works on the carpet and tile and is very lightweight. Back in the day when most of the house had carpet I bought bigger vacuums.
After seeing yours I just ordered one from Amazon. We have a heavy canister vacuum that Craig uses but it’s too awkward for me to handle. I’d been recently thinking about getting a lighter weight upright vacuum for myself so hopefully this will work well for me.
I hope it works for you too. It is very light , 4 pounds I think. It gets the pet hair out of the carpeted bedroom and crumbs and hair off the floors.
I can’t find a vacuum where the hair doesn’t get all tangled in the brush roller and and just stuck in the opening, have to keep getting the hair out.
Good morning,
60 degrees going up to 80 today.
I had a lazy day yesterday, it was beautiful outside and I was in the sunroom reading and took a bike ride and walk.
I did mop the floors, I used my Shark steam cleaner which does a really good job. I like the hot water heat to loosen dirt
and spills on the floor.
I need some groceries today.
I love my Shark steamer. I have used one since we tiled the house.
Just steaming water does a great job. 🙂
I love mine
I love my steam cleaner too. I’m chemically sensitive so being able to clean with the hot steam is so much better than having a lingering fragrance that bothers my eyes, nasal passages and lungs.
Good morning, lovely day yesterday, just pottered which I enjoy but as the day went on and the sun was out I got out the mower out and cut some grass hard going as its long but going slowly I managed to stay upright. Its amazing how everything pops up and there is a mass of different plants coming up in the front and new plants I planted last year at the back are beginning to spring up ! I planted a Ragged Robin for my cat Bonnie and its now a blazing red and looks lovely ! My leaf… Read more »
Hi Beryl.
Good luck with your leaf sucker hope you soon get sucking. 😘
😂
Good morning Beryl,
Beautiful picture of your Ragged Robin plant.💗
With just 2 screws I’m sure you can get the leaf sucker going. Does it suck up the leaves or blow them?
Goodness your cutting grass already. Hope you pace yourself it is a lot of work pushing a mower.
Hi Jenn, it does both and I can’t wait to suck up those darned leaves then be free of them as where ever I went yesterday I was picking up leaves ! Glad you had a peaceful day I enjoy being outside its just difficult with the weather but we have had a few nice days so I grab the chance. My next door neighbours family are in and out sorting out the house its actually nice to hear noises as Fred was very quiet but the fact that he is not there anymore is so sad ! 😔… Read more »
It will be nice for you to get rid of all the leaves, they can look pretty dismal after the long winter.
It is sad to lose a good neighbor friend.💔 I hope whomever moves in the house is a good neighbor.
Hi Beryl
Glad you were able to ow yesterday and your leaf sucker came….so it sucks them up instead of blowing them?
Hi Beryl
Great news that you got to enjoy being outside yesterday 😊 I hope you are pleased with your leaf sucker 😀
Good morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. A cool and cloudy start to the day but very light winds. Max temp today 55F dropping to 38F tonight so a light frost I expect. Staying in the upper 50F range for next week but looks like being a wet Easter holiday period as usual.lol. Trees along the bypass really beginning to Green up now will look a treat in a week or two. Daffodils now over on the Green and the grass will soon need a trim growing very fast now. Back now from a quiet trip out to get… Read more »
Good morning Ice,
Sounds like it is still a bit chilly for you but we are in April now, so changes in the temperatures hopefully.
I know your enjoying the low volume traffic this week.🚗😊
Hi Jenn.
Yes it is still a chilly cloudy day no sign of some sunshine today.
The light traffic is a big bonus should be longer holidays for the children.lol. 😘
Good morning Ice
You are still a little chilly but should warm up soon.
Hi Ardy.
Nothing warmer on the forecasts yet even talking about snow in Scotland for Easter. 🙄 😘
Hi Ice
Sorry about still dealing with chilly weather. We could still get another freeze between now and April 15 which is our average last frost/freeze date.
Good Afternoon, just been pottering around the garden so much clearing and tidying up after the Winter not to say the leaves from the 2 large Oaks across from me ! Lots of plants have made it through much to my surprise and some re-potting to do but not sure how my back is going to hold up with that !
Just got my leaf sucker but not sure how to put it together not good with that sort of thing, on these occasions I do need a man ! (sadly, lol !) 😉
Hi Beryl..lots of women can do that too…not me though…but you can just google it, that’s what my DH does to figure out how to do some things, he watched videos.
