Good morning!! I didnt do much yesterday. I called Macys and they said my check cleared but I bet it didnt…the system probably hasn’t caught it yet, too soon. I really dont remember what I did other than feed the birds, laundry and I ironed. Rick made cheese enchiladas which turned out very good.

Good Morning! Sunny and 55 going up to 85. No chance of rain until Saturday which hopefully we will get. I’m in the midst of a home office project. There’s way too much disorganized clutter. I started sorting through some buried piles yesterday and found some check carbons to get rid of that dated as far back as 2006 😳 I hope to make more progress today sorting through the clutter. Another beautiful sunny day but still with that gusty NE wind a high of 68F today.
We are to have all next week sunny days with very little rain about and the temps will be in the upper 60F range.
Plus that gusty wind wil be dropping and things will be much calmer.
Maybe Summer is coming at last.
Later trip this morning with no traffic hold up, must be the answer a later trip to get the paper.lol.

Good Morning! Sunny and 54 going up to 83 with breezy conditions 10 to 20 mph with higher gusts possible.
Chai and Matcha had good dental cleanings and pre-sedation to labs yesterday. No issues were found for which we are thankful.
I need to get my little bit of outside watering done before the strong breezes begin. I’m only watering the hanging plants and the recently planted Vermillionaire.

Good morning, Yesterday was a very busy day, working all day finishing up packing. We will be leaving tomorrow morning early. We have reservations at Hampton Inns in VA tomorrow night, Pennsylvania the second night and New Hampshire Saturday night. We could have made it to the cabin but we need to go through Brunswick to unload and leave the U-Haul and it is an hour+ closer so we wanted to get that done and leave the U-Haul. Good morning Yesterday morning we had an appointment at BOA Bank of America. The check did clear. They said it was able to clear because of overdraft!!! Holy cow, that is a lot of money given in overdraft. So Alfonso, the guy helping us at our bank called and put in a fraud claim while we were there. It appears this woman paid her Barclay CC off with our checking account and got away with with it!!!! So now we wait while they investigate…..it will be at least 40 days before we get the $700 we had in checking back… Read more »

With a bank account here you have to agree to have an overdraft. I have never had an overdraft vacility on my bank accounts.
We were shocked that they covered such a large overdraft!!!!!!

She got the entire amount she wanted…… $4,628.80
Now i see my payment to Macys I made was declined because of insufficient funds
I wonder how many more I will get??? This is a nightmare.
That is just terrible Ardy, what an awful person to do that. So BOA has to take that loss and refund you I hope?

We have fraud protection from the bank so the bank covers it. Maybe they can get it from her c.c. IDK

I’m totally shocked that BofA cleared that check for such a huge amount. Their own system should have caught this as possible fraud and alerted you guys. I’m so very sorry y’all are dealing with this nightmare. It’s very unnerving that this wasn’t caught by the bank to prevent it from happening.
We are shocked it wasnt caught as fraud….he said because we are good customers and been with them since 1984 they approved an overdraft!!! We think it was crazy to do that!
That’s just lame in my opinion.
