Yesterday I had an early appt. at 7:30 am for my blood draw …..when I came home i decided to wash my KIA by hand which I knew would be really hard on my back and body. I am particular about it. I wonder why when it sits in a carport and gets dusty and then Roger gets on it. But it looks great for a day…..maybe it is worth $40 to take it to the carwash?? Then I did some laundry.
We had grilled shrimp tacos for supper.

I do most of the time. I hate spending the $$$ when it gets dirty so fast and Rick didnt volunteer to take it to the do it yourself😎

Tacos always good, I would like to have some small sweet Maine shrimp. We get only from Canada now, which are pretty much the same. Maine has not allowed shrimping since 2014 and now extended to 2028!
These were small shrimp, maybe from Mexico?

Good morning, Yesterday was beautiful, sunny and near 70 degrees. Today and tomorrow are going to have a heat wave of high 80’s! Back to normal temps Thursday. We went to Moody’s diner for breakfast before getting to the laundromat, so we did not go to the cafe at the bookstore this time. I went to the second hand book store and got a cookbook and 3 novels. UPS arrived here at 8pm last night, bringing the check from the closing. We have an appt. tomorrow at our credit union in Augusta. So thankful all that is behind us now.… Read more »

It is $7.50 per machine we had 3 machines, they hold a LOT but I had sheets and blankets too.

Good morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. A blustery day again but the wind coming from the South so not too cold. Gusting to 30mph with some heavy showers around all day. Shopping done and dusted for another week time to devour that Pretzel.lol. Temp creeping to the 70F range and by Sunday we will be in the 80F for the whole of next week.😅. Hard to believe that that by Sunday it could be 30F warmer than today.
It will be absolute chaos Jenn because the last two holiday weekends have been a washout so families will be making up for that.

Howdy-do Lovely Early Bird People 🐦 Cool/cloudy morning; supposed to be 72 later; pretty sure it won’t get there 🤔 Went to the post office, then got enough gas to get to Pueblo tomo when i can fill up at Sam’s; their gas is a lot less $$$ than anywhere else. Went to church yesterday. Came straight home. I did two loads of clothes. I started watching the movie with Valerie Bertenelli in it. He husband gets Alzheimer’s, sad movie Then watch the Fever Basket ball game. Rick grill chicken thighs and we had tomatoes from the garden.

That sounded like a sad movie. It is such a horrible disease. Patty my friend does not even know her own children or husband anymore.
My mom thought i was one of her sisters…it is sad. I had tears running down my face at the end of the movie.

Good morning, We had another beautiful day yesterday. Today is sunny with a high of 66. We visited at an old friends house, Gene and his wife Patty were close friends but we have not seen them much since we moved away from this area. Patty is sadly now in a nursing facility with Alzheimer’s. She is not doing well at all. Gene is selling his home and moving everything out and 2 of his children were there helping move stuff.
