At 10.30a/MDT: temp is 83/real feel is 91 — our humidity/dew point is just ridiculous. Still trying to find someone to install the new thermostat. Guess I’m not in that big of a hurry; it’s actually working okay. I’ve been switching the toggle to ON around noon and let it run; switching it to OFF at 11p. Because it’s so hot, the house has never reached 75, which is where i keep summer temps. So glad I have a good A/C compressor that’s fairly new. Anyway, enough of that silliness! Ice, nice you/Glenda got your feetsies done 👣 glad there… Read more »

Good Morning! Cloudy and going up to 84 with a few showers developing this afternoon. As of last Wednesday Craig’s department is on summer hours (8:30 AM to 3:00 PM). When he got home from work yesterday Craig started working on cutting up the remaining debris to bag for curbside pickup from the major pruning he did on our backdoor neighbors huge Red Tip shrubs (they approved him doing this for them since they’re not up to the task). It took Craig longer than he estimated to finish the job (4 hours instead of 2) so in total Craig spent… Read more »

Hi Ardy,
I hope your like your haircut. Trouble with tomatoes they seem to come all at once! What type do you have. We got a cherry tomato type, we like them for salads and just for snacks.

Good morning, Another beautiful sunny day 59 going up to 83. Yesterday morning I had just finished showering and blow drying my hair when the power suddenly went out. I was sure thankful with the timing! 😀 I went over to visit sis Barb, I had a couple books and magazines for her. We had a good visit but she looks so sad and not the energy and bouncing around she usually has. She told me she was eating badly since Travis passed she had been ‘over eating to ease her pain’ and feels she brought this on herself. It… Read more »

Hi Jenn.
The store was not crowded at all possibly the rain had something to do with it.lol.
Glenda and myself got a little damp but the Pretzel made up for that.
Feet felt light as air but that soon wore off.😀😘

Here’s a pic of Craig’s method for opening the yard waste bags. To quote Craig, “That’s how you do it when your arm length is shorter than the bag height.” 😂

Good Morning! Sunny and 73 going up to 90 with possible afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Craig was very busy both Saturday and Sunday (yard project 6 hours each day). Our backdoor neighbor has very large and old Red Tip shrubs that had grown well over the back border of our yards. Since our neighbor has issues with his knees he has not been able to tackle the massive job of major pruning needed. Craig offered to do it for him (at no charge) and he graciously accepted Craig’s offer. I wish I had taken a before pic but here’s one… Read more »

Is that the shrub in the photo? Or just the trimmings from it?
That was nice of Craig but a lot of work.

What’s on the ground are a portion of what Craig removed. Also shown is what remains of the very tall shrub that goes almost to the top of this pic.
