Good Morning! Heat and humidity return today but at least it’s still comfortable this morning. Sunny and 69 at 8:30 AM going up to 93. Yesterday I washed two loads of laundry. Today I need to do more laundry. I also need to do more grocery shopping. I finally got a response from my stylist and she had an opening for next Thursday morning so I need to wait another week to get my much needed hair cut. Good morning Not much news. Rick grocery shopped yesterday and I washed one load of clothes and ironed my capris. Our high was 99° and we have chances of rain every day so I hope we get some. Gosh I havent walked for two weeks after I hurt my leg getting off the stool. I have been icing it but its not easy to ice the back of your leg. Sorry you haven’t been able to walk. There are some things that can happen to the back of the knee like Meniscus tear or Baker’s Cyst which I thought you had in the past but I might be wrong?
I had a Bakers cyst behind the left knee for years and then had it drained and it never filled up again.
I thought I remembered you had that problem. I am very happy for you that the Bakers cyst never returned. 💗
Thanks me too. If ever does i will have it drained again. It has lasted quite a few years now.

I’m so sorry your leg still hurts and prevents you from taking your morning walks. I hope your bank appointment goes well. I turned 73 in July and will need to take a withdrawal from my IRA.
It is slowly getting better, I dont want to walk and aggravate it.

Good morning, 70 degrees going up to 79. Sun is shining through the windows. We are going to stay until tomorrow we decided. I am going to get out for a walk this morning, the nice weather is calling me out. Time to get back to getting some exercise. The road at the camp is not safe to walk on with trees overhanging and traffic goes pretty fast usually. The community here has safe roads and there are all the woods paths. Generally the Morning Glories open early but by noontime heat they close up.
We are not sure yet about a dog, we would want a Collie since it is the breed we love. Just do not know if it can happen.
Like moon flowers, come out at night and they are done after the morning sun is on them.
Do the same flowers open the next day? Moon flowers do not.

Good morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. A cool night will have to put on a warmer duvet today but at least we have the duvet to handle heatwaves now. Just 40F this morning at 7-00. just a high of 65F today with the odd shower forecast. Slept a bit longer last night to 6-00 so a bit later going for the paper, needless to say we ran into heavy traffic so around 8-00 it seems is rush hour time, must avoid that time in future. Warmer Duvet fitted, probably have a heat wave now.lol.
When we had the family we had a clothes drier, but with just the two of us much too expensive to run these days.😀😘

I have a clothesline at camp and often brought home clothes from the laundromat to hang out. Also if towels are wet from showers I hang them to dry outside.
when it’s hot like that here, it’s also humid…so the clothes don’t dry very fast and just feel damp..better to be a bit cooler with a nice breeze here to dry clothes on the line;

Good Morning! Sunny and a delightful 64 this morning going up to 89.
Yesterday I got my shopping done at The Fresh Market and got the ground sirloin prepared for the freezer. Today I’ll be focused on laundry and have my first load in the washer. I also need to call and schedule the twice a year regular maintenance on our HVAC system and hope they’ll be available for one day next week.

Good morning, Today is going to be cloudy with possible late showers. Yesterday was another beautiful day. Denny finished staining this last side of the addition. He climbed up on the roof because he had to reach the top corner boards he could not reach from the ladder. He found it was very slippery and I was scared half to death😱 He realized it was pretty dangerous finally and I got a ways up on the ladder kind of steadying him getting his feet onto the ladder while clinging to the roof.
