Good Morning! Cloudy, less humid and 73 going up to 86. Sorry I didn’t get here yesterday. Craig is on vacation this week. Neither of us set an alarm so I got up later than usual yesterday. Once I was up I stayed busy all day and never got on chat here. This morning I had to set a 5:40 AM alarm since I need to leave by 8:10 AM to pick up MIL-Joyce for her routine macular degeneration eye appointment. Good morning, A chilly one 47 degrees but going up to 70 with sun. Definitely the Fall feeling in the air. Yesterday was another beautiful sunny day. We went for a drive and stopped for ice creams. I worked on my crochet little pumpkins and had a long fun call with sis Barb. She had her eyes dilated yesterday and drove herself home! Thank you I know Barb is nervous about her license. I understand I would hate to lose mine. One thing about the apartment we are living at now, they have bus transportation that will take you anywhere in the city. Doctors offices, hospitals, grocery stores and shopping stores. Anywhere and only a dollar a trip. I would use that if needed and it was another reason I wanted to go back there. If I ever end up alone and unable to drive, I would happily use the bus. A security to me.
That is great about the bus service available in your area. Peace of mind for sure. I’m so glad y’all were able to get the apartment in Brunswick 😊

Another very humid night, it was better in the heat waves than it is now.
Temp not that high just 64F at 7-00 rising to 70F later with that high humidity.
It is that day again PRETZEL day got to get my legs working again for a while.lol.
Seems to come around fast these days, time really flying at my age.😀.
Will be waiting at Lidl’s door to get the shop over as quickly as possible, all depends how my legs hold up.

Wow that humidity still and half way into September! We have very little humidity normally and this year was a good one with very little. It seems so weird that you haven’t had this humid weather before this year. Crazy!

It is still very humid, but my legs held up well today.
We do not normally suffer high humidity at any time in the year so something is very different from normal.
Pretzel was very good today not long out of the oven.😋😘

Yesterday was a peaceful quiet day. It rained a steady rain all day, which was very much needed.
Not sure of plans today yet.

Are you back at Camp? I cant remember where you are.
Yes, we came back Friday. We do not plan to stay over anymore until we move down after September. We have everything pretty well set now for move in ready. Probably go for an afternoon to do laundry. Want to enjoy the camp until we have to close it up for winter. It seems the summer has honestly just flown by.
I dont blame you for wanting to stay at camp as long as you can!!
We love it here that is for sure. It is going to be good for the winter months in Brunswick though when the cold moves in. Our driveway here is long and uphill and it would be tough to say the least when it is snowy and icy underfoot.

Yesterday morning we went to the Farmers market with To and Serena. There was a chile roast and they wanted to buy some roasted chiles. Rick roasted some hatch chiles the night before at home for us.
We had a nice time. I bought Rick a new spoon for cooking made out of Mesquite wood. I got free cotton candy, I had the prickly pear flavor and I bought a small chile ristra. Baja cafe for lunch. It was packed, a 20 minute wait. The food was delicious. Then they hung out for awhile.

I want to go to a fair before they end. There have been many in August but we were so busy settling in at the apartment. There are a couple more Agricultural ones so maybe we will make it.
That curtain went all the way around his tent, pretty cool and must of taken some time to do it

A very humid night and ab very dull and humid day in store today with some showers around.
Just cannot get rid of this humidity lately a heat wave is better.lol.
But it will be cooling down well by the end of the week low 60F range
We have still, not any real heavy rain now for month in the South of the country.
So drought conditions are still in force with hosepipe ban in a lot of places.
