Good Morning! Cloudy and 37 going up to 53 with sunshine expected this afternoon. Brutality cold morning temps are expected come Monday morning when it’s forecast to be in the teens 🥶 Yesterday I accomplished my goal with laundry. I needed to wash/dry two gentle cycle loads. I haven’t decided yet on today’s agenda except for wrapping a few Christmas gifts and getting our Christmas stockings out of the attic. Good morning, I had trouble getting on it said something about my adblocker was stopping me from getting on but I tried later and am on. Has anyone had that? Cold outside today but going to be bitter cold on Monday, the morning temps look to be in the single digits.😱 I went to a quilt shop not far from here yesterday, they are so expensive it was almost shocking. $20 and up for a yard of material. Rick and I went to Starr Pass resort to see the gingerbread house and the decorations. Then we tried to find Aldi…..The shopping center where Google said it was on the Southside of Tucson was a mess. The traffic was bad and I dont know designed it but they needed more 4-way stop signs…we almost got hit. We will never go back there again. I just want to check out the aisle of shame!! It is not close to us. I know Rick wouldnt care for it and shop there even if it was close to us.
Our neighbors dad owns the three hotdog restaurants and they do well….. so he wanted to try one of them
I see that aisle of shame on FB. I think it is finding very good clearance prices not sure why it is called such a name…lol

I like Aldi, especially the non food aisles, lol..I have a couple nice big area rugs, pet sweaters and other pet items, pj pants, craft kits, and lots more that I’ve gotten there..also they have unique German treats and cookies, things that aren’t in other stores…they have really good chocolates and soups, German harvest soup and other kinds…we get our cream and Irish butter and unique cheese there, it’s just fun to look around. I’ve seen well known brands there also.
Hi Ardy What a fun visit to the Gingerbread House 😀 How disappointing with the poorly designed roads trying to get to Aldi. I am quite fortunate with easy access to my Aldi which is less than 10 minutes away from our house. I enjoy shopping there and go quite often. Craig’s favorite Whole Milk Plain Greek Yogurt is Aldi’s Happy Farms brand. He has tried different brands and prefers the Happy Farms brand for texture and flavor. It was the whole area within the complex it was just a nightmare The traffic was coming and going so we never had a chance to turn out of there and when Rick thought it was clear we almost got hit I don’t know why it wasn’t a 4 way stop. The people just drove like crazy! The Sonoran hot dogs were lacking in ingredients like beans for instance I think I found three in mine. The french fries were great. I will update you on Roger later

Good morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. A really dark and drizzly morning but hopefully it will be brighter later this afternoon. A high of 51F today. Weather or the rest of the week is mild and wet and no night time frosts. Today is the 12th day and the cheese is “Cheddar with Pineapple”. An earlier trip today so we did hit some more traffic this morning, but did not hold us up for long. Time now for that coffee fix and the morsel of cheese which will be too sweet for me I think. Sweet cheese does not sound appetizing. I wonder how much of those different cheeses sell well? I never really look over exotic cheeses or whatever you call them, just the good old cheddar.😘 We buy sliced cheese for sandwiches called Cooper Sharp Cheddar.
We have bought it in Maine for years but had trouble finding it here. Finally Food Lion carries it and we get a lb. at a time for sandwiches. Danny loves it too…of course.😺

I have never seen a lot of the flavours that is in this advent calendar for sale as whole cheeses.
I buy my cheeses in whole lumps and slice a chunk off when desired.
We like blue veined cheese for the best flavour. Like Stilton a good old favourite.😀😘
