This live underwater webcam is located 20-30ft down depending on the tides. Every few weeks to a month, a diver or two is sent down to clean the camera housing and perform routine maintenance.

We had a couple days with a hint of fall, rather pleasant for us. Today it is 87 outside and tomorrow 90, but then we go back to lower 80’s. Fall is around the corner tho. It would still be downright hot for you!

No, i will not bite like the horses, lol. Once a donkey bit me, while i gave it a carrot. Long time ago. I had went on a bicycle “outing” with little dd on a may 1. . We came by this donkey, i still had a carrot from our provisions , and then…. ouch, bit me. Better bit me than my little dd. 🙄.

DH wants to refinish the wood floor, sanding down to bare wood in stages and applying a protective sealer. No more grout problems, grout it’s not on the floor anymore. No more PITA, please. Getting cooler temps, hope so. 💙

It will be hard work, but with the right equipment not too bad. You will save a bundle even if you need to rent equipment.
That’s DH plans… He loves wood floors, we installed wood floor in previous homes.
I grew up with hardwood floors. Then I can’t remember at first, maybe either linoleum or carpet in the family room and carpet in the bedrooms. I’m not sure. But I know my parents later on had new hardwood floors installed in the living room and hall. It was really pretty and my mother kept it very shiny. They were the thin, interlocking boards.
Hi Debbie, I grew up with tile floors so easy to keep clean, I’ve had homes with linoleum in kitchen we replace with tile and carpet in rooms we replace to wood floors and carpet in entire bathrooms (yuck) we replace it with tile. OMG, carpet in bathrooms.? Oh well…
Hi ML you have done it all! Actually I no longer like carpet, it is too hard to keep clean. What I really like is luxury vinyl planks. It looks enough like wood to me. They also make tiles. I got that put down in the kitchen and like it. I got what is called “floating” and a thicker version. It is a little easier on the feet. Right?! Today’s floor options, it’s quite nice but at the same time they seems to change styles very fast. Last year we found this shower tile that we upgraded during our ordeal, we needed more for the repair and it was hard to located a few boxes for the job. Sorry about the not shiny finish on your kitchen floor but I bet it looks very nice and so comfy for your feet.
I learned a lot shopping for this stuff. I got it down to how many mil for the color layer and I think mm for the sub layer. It is a good thing when you order any kind of flooring, roofing shingles, wall paper, just about anything that comes in boxes or rolls or pieces. But if you are replacing a good sized area no one wants to buy that much extra.

I know that you have a shower tray now, but i thought that DH might do some work on tiles /using grout on the bathroom floor around the shower tray. Maybe your bathroom floor is different. We here have tiles on the whole bathroom floor. But ok, now he works on the wooden floor. Omg, always something…😌. Yeah, time for cool temps !😃.

@HNF Hi Finally i can log in the normal way again. No more incognito needed. Yes, i had cleared my cache and cookies and all, but only the “last hour”. I thought i had cleared so well, but only had cleared a short time. Hadnt seen that, me stupid. Now i cleared “the whole time” and it works again. I like that part HNF. I don’t like the notification automatically deleting if I go to that comment to read. Sometimes if the comment has a lot of content, I don’t have time to respond right then, or sometimes I want to reread again and can’t find it again. I would prefer the notification to not delete until I mark it as read, which is not as hard as it was now that we can see the first few words in the notification. I know it is impossible to completely please every one. You do a good job.
