Osprey Nest Cam – LoLo, MT
Your watching a live video cam of wild Osprey named Swoop and Winnie. Swoop returned for the nesting season with a new mate(2024). Harriet was his previous mate.
The nest is located 45 feet off the ground on the top of a pole. Nesting season is from April to Early August. After the Osprey leave for migration the ranch owners install a bird feeder station on the nest perch.
You will see all kinds of birds including raptors, geese, squirrels and more. The feeder station comes down in spring right before the osprey are about to return.

Omg, they have another egg! Thanks for the close-up! 😍
Well done, Swoop!

Saturday 02/05/2026 18:11:55 first egg!
Nice, but at 4:41am (5/4/2026) and about 20 minutes prior, the egg was not being incubated – hmmmm.
Yes it is concerning for sure. But have witnessed it before in a nest from finland, where the female left the nest during the first egg laying for periods of time. The results of that were wonderful and a relief, all 3 eggs hatched and within a closer amount of days than the typical 3 day gap! So hopefully the same results here.
Getting the nest ready.
Wow! All Winter there has been no snow. The birds just returned last week and this weather will put them back on their schedule for laying their eggs. I look forward every year from Nova Scotia, Canada to view your Osprey cam. Hope they come back soon.
Nice to see some activity starting
