Osprey Nest Cam – LoLo, MT

Your watching a live video cam of wild Osprey named Swoop and Winnie. Swoop returned for the nesting season with a new mate(2024). Harriet was his previous mate.

The nest is located 45 feet off the ground on the top of a pole. Nesting season is from April to Early August. After the Osprey leave for migration the ranch owners install a bird feeder station on the nest perch.

You will see all kinds of birds including raptors, geese, squirrels and more. The feeder station comes down in spring right before the osprey are about to return.

Whew, relieved that twine is gone as of 12:06 today. Swoop hooked it twice this morning, pulled about half of it out each time. Hope he doesn’t bring in any more.

That twine looks like trouble. I keep hoping one of them will hook it on a talon and get it out of there, but it appears to be down in the bowl with the eggs now.

No horses? I see the cover for the sheds are gone. Loved watching them.
