Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning! It’s me. I just got back from a nice walk. Almost walked an hour. I’m one of the lucky ones who got their flight canceled but they have rebooked me. I just checked in with the airlines to make sure I had a flight. Here’s the good news. I leave Sacramento at 5:00 a.m. Monday morning and I like to be there 2 hours early, which means I want to be there at 3:00 a.m. which means we have to leave here at 1:30 a.m. which I am not thrilled about. I did see at Decorah that Ardy is still planning to come home Monday but has a new flight. I hope it pans out for her, both for her and us. I miss her! Y’all have the best day possible.

Good morning…we’ll go to the Christmas festival at a farm today…like a vendor fair..they have fall ones, too..we go to both but since our favorite vendor and the one we have become friends with is retiring, might not go as much. My sister hasn’t said if she and our mom is going. Going to drink my pumpkin spice coffee now..already had a cup of turtle dove coffee.

Yum on the Jams Lynn, have a nice visit with your freind-also with the vendors there check out if anyone else is selling jams. I have been enjoying a Raspberry,Apple butter jam from Bay Feild Wisconsin they sell the Jams at the Coop where my Mom and Dad live.I like a good jam😋
