Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Sorry about your headache Pam. If it is sinus a decongestant might help, plus help you sleep! We might get an inch of snow Monday. Hope it doesn’t make it hard to get to the dentist. I just don’t do slick anymore. Just a little slick can bring me down.
Snow! We’ve hardly had frost yet. Up North in the real mountain yes. It was 59 here for a bit today, now 39 which isn’t bad at almost midnight. I know I’m late again.
Hi Gem. We have been pretty warm up until starting tomorrow. Rain then snow. We will probably not get the inch but it is possible. I’m so glad I’m retired.

Hi Julie. Pretty ,but I’m not ready yet. 40’s right now with much needed rain tonight. We still need rain just not anything frozen yet please. Although I never put my shovel away, it is sitting on the deck waiting. I see the canal is also getting snow. Hope they are done with the cement portions of construction, I don’t see any more forms waiting. Does Jade like the snow?
Hi Gem and good morning coffee clinks to you😘 we got rain before it changed over to snow- I have had Jade out in the snow. I try not to expose her to much cold, being a rescue she lost parts of her ears due to frost bite and I don’t want to cause her pain because of her ears being exposed to the cold, she can’t tell me if it hurts her so I error on the side of caution. We could get lake effect snow today. Michigan is getting snow today

Its not the shut down that’s doing it, that’s what people have to understand, its being purposely done, because they want to save health care for people and make it affordable
