Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good late morning…my aunt and uncle were in town for an appt so they stopped by for my aunt’s Avon….my mom will stop by later, I have a couple apples for her and pictures to show her…it’s cool but going to warm up in a day or two. If DH gets home early enough, maybe we’ll go to FIL’s later, or maybe tomorrow…but he’s working out of town so sometimes that goes late. I don’t really have plans, maybe walk the dogs.

I’m glad to have someone to share with but she never wants much…I always end up with too much, it’s just me…maybe I could leave some at FIL’s but then they bring in food and also eat what’s there.

Good morning Bella Buds and Happy Day for you. We are cooler now, windows shut. 67 outside. I don’t have a lot of plans, mostly a couple things for Casey, maybe get a new printer ordered, but no hurry on that. Jo has to go to Somerset tomorrow for routine gastro. I think I’ll go, I want to stop by rheumatology and find out why my next appointment was changed a little in time, and to a different nurse practitioner. I just got an email with no explanation.

Good morning It’s kind of cloudy here we might get rain and we might not. I went for a little walk this morning I thought it would be cooler but it was still a little warm at 70 some degrees I’ve been doing a lot of this and that I threw all my paperwork away from when I broke my wrist decided I don’t need that the bills are paid so hopefully they won’t come after me.

I keep a little something for big medical things so I can remember dates, etc. Mostly whatever gives the info best about what it was. If all I have is a bill I’ll keep it, but usually those type things I throw away.
We let him out and he was gone somewhere all day…I made him stay in after i got up, he wasnt happy but went back to the bedroom and he is sleeping in the closet. I think we’re going to give him some of his pain medicine when he gets up because if he’s laying in the closet sleeping he must not be feeling up to par
He also just might be hiding-he doesn’t want to be messed with. I agree if you have the pain meds give it to him😘

They do, I learned that many cats ago.
When we adopted Bob we only let him out between about noon and y pm. After he was traumatized by something we didn’t let him out at all. I think there is a lot more danger during the night hours.
Theres danger at any time😱 but more preditors at night but #1 killer is cars
