Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I have been waiting for tickets to go on sale for the Lion King in March. Rick said he would go with me when he got up but it looks like the cheaper tickets are gone already and those were for $137 a piece…..now the cheapest ones are $154…starting price.

Morning! I have been sleeping on and off in the couch …..I looked for bats but none came by then but the feeders were low this morning.
We are going to a concert tonight and eating at the restaurant next door.
Gave myself a pedi and polished toes yesterday and applied my nails.

Sounds like a busy morning. Yum, spaghetti. I have a food quirk, I like cranberry sauce with spaghetti. Salad too! That coffee sounds good! Who needs a fancy coffee shop coffee!
my dad liked cranberry sauce with just about anything too, but I highly doubt he ever ate spaghetti, we probably had it when he worked the night shift
I don’t eat it with everything but I do like it with things other people don’t. Something like fried apples works too. I really should tried the more diet friendly apple sauce I think that would work. I think I want the sweet paired with foods with hamburger, more grease, but fewer vegetables, like spaghetti and meatloaf.
