Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Yes, about 20 hours. I still can’t believe it. I didn’t even hear the baby. I am going to have a chat with the doc tomorrow. This new one is a longer acting one than I’ve ever had before. Maybe that’s the problem. I was on a diff med before, and I weaned myself off. Maybe I just don’t really need them any more. We all have anxiety, right?
Did your husband take care of Dutchess? A lot of primary doctors are lousy at psychotropic medicines. Always ere on the side of the smallest dose it comes in, and increase as necessary. All people have different needs.I can’t judge yours. But I will tell you this, when I worked in mental health our psychiatrist would have a patient stable, then a regular doctor would change the medicine, they would get sick, and I was calling one of the state psychiatric hospitals to have them involuntarily committed. Debbie, Dutchess sleeps with me. And she stays there. She went through the whole thing with me. Fed her right away after I got up and situated. Still kind of groggy and out of it. I think that stuff is just too strong for me. Anyway, I don’t know how long I will be online. I don’t even know how long I will be awake. 😅 I feel like I might crash at any moment, so I hope no one feels like I’m ignoring them if I don’t answer.
I think you need to just take care of yourself, do whatever you want to do. I’m a pee pot and couldn’t go that long without a bathroom! If I was reincarnated as a dog I’m sure it would be the same. I hope your husband at least checked on you.
Well I don’t remember getting up to use the bathroom, but . . . . Scary thought. I don’t know if he checked or not, I haven’t talked to him yet.

It is possible you got up, even fed Dutchess about half asleep, then went back to bed and don’t remember it.

You and Dutchess are fine that is what matters.
If you can cope without it, yes. But regardless, try mild and increase. My mom had bad panic attacks in later life. She took Ativan when she had an attack. In about 20 minutes it worked and ended the panic attack. I never saw any real side effect or getting sleepy. That in no way means that is the medicine you need, just an example of the right medicine helping the right person.
My primary has done really well with my meds. This is the first time I’ve really had problems. But I won’t take this stuff any more, believe me.

Good afternoon. I went to light Church. I finally went to Walmart for a couple things. Another day of aches and pains. My poor hands and my poor feet. Anyway, it’s 82° and Rick made an apple pie today

Have you thought seriously about steroid injections in your hands? I don’t care for ingested steroids as they cause many side effects, even if they seem to do a great job for their purpose. I’ve heard people have great success with local steroids use, though. Just a thought. 😊 Good night, Ardyth. 🌷
DH wanted to get the market thing done so we did…it was bitter cold…got several bags of popcorn…Chicago mix, pretzel cheese, pizza, and banana I think…bought a peppermint soap for me from the young boy who makes and sells them at the farmer’s market. My fingers were hurting bad and I was almost crying while we got the truck warmed up…glad to be home…
never heard of the popcorn flavors! Are they candy coated?
umm, maybe like powdered flavorings on them? not sure…of course pizza and all the non sweet ones aren’t candy flavored…there are 65 flavors
the kind at the farm store is good too, but only a couple flavors like ranch, white cheddar, bacon..can’t remember what other flavors I’ve seen in stores but probably mostly cheese or ranch
I’ve seen popcorn with the powdered flavors — when i was at the Amish store in NC, they had jars of mighty tasty different flavored powders.
