Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.
It has been gloomy and raining all day!!! This is not the typical hot 🥵 sunny weather we have here. Ugh, it’s a bit much. We do need the rain, as we are in a drought.

Send it to me please
Hi Lynn, I was able to open the link Deb posted. It was very cool.

It’s her Dear Son; he’s a marathon runner and photographer
Oh!! Thank you.
The Emmy Awards will still be broadcast live, though they are leaving traditional broadcast television (ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC) to stream exclusively live on Prime Video starting in September 2027
Going to take a nap. Just doesn’t feel right to have not seen any posts from Julie. 😢 😰

I can tell it’s October, Canadian geese always do flyovers; just a honkin’ and a honkin’
When I went to California the very end of October actually beginning in November for Jolene’s funeral There was lots of geese flying overhead when I was walking and I took lots of pictures of them of course.
Of course you did 😘💗

I just realized it’s Tuesday! Where the heck did Monday go??? Gahhhh
It’s been such lovely weather these past several days, i am not looking forward to 90s again 😭 Didn’t get up til almost 9a, which is very late for me; the clowder were all milling around the front door. Poor things.
Dang, there’s a fly circling; making me crazy — i really don’t like them, either in or out of the house.
Safe travels Debbie/Jo and all who must be on the road today.🙏
Happy Day to you, love and hugs 💖
That’s me !!! Except I crash at the table!! 🤣 I’m glad you had nice weather, Pam. 😊 It was 80 here yesterday, and 85 now!! I’m thinking, where is Fall, Winter, Spring, or anything but HOT!!?? 😂 How many kitties are in your clowder these days?
Hey Karen, there’s usually 9, up to 15. I don’t think they all arrive at the same time. And i have 4 skunks who visit/eat after dark. 🙄
Oh, how cool is that!! All those little babies coming to see you every day/nite. I would be in HOG heaven! I’m sure you must be. You are so good to them. 😘
Aww, thanks Karen ♥♥ I do like caring for them.
Hi Pam
