Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I am sitting outside doing my toenails and the mosquitoes are just attacking me. I have on off and I have on skin so soft bug guard and they are still biting me. Yikes!
you nails will look terrific. Those nails are pretty. Do they actually glow in the dark. So cute. I’m sorry about those mosquitoes. That is so bad. Seems the Off should be helping more than that.

That would be hard to do with mosquitos bitting you, maybe you can have a fan blowing on you to keep the mosquitos away. The fan makes it hard for them to fly

It was a warm night which I like. It was warm out watching the bats,78°
I took 57 shots and got ONE picture…..lol there were a couple flying by.
I washed living room windows yesterday, today is toe and fingernails.

Yes they pollinate them Debbie, but also they drink nectar from the flowers
