Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I have been back home for a bit. Had Jade outside, and almost a cat fight!! Jade saw a big Tabby coming towards her and she creamed at the top of her lungs and poofed up just like a holloween cat
I wouldn’t want to tangle with Jade.
She made me jump and run to her then I saw the other cat think Jade would of kicked some cat butt if she got a hold of it

My void would of caused some damage, I think I saw a woman who lives across the street carrying the cat so it might be hers will go talk to her tomorrow

Oh Pam, I’m sorry you don’t know! Do they actually live in the surge area?
They live in Panama City Beach, so yes
I didn’t know how far inland the surge, different than heavy rain, went. I googled and it said depending on elevation 25-30 miles!
It can flood from the Gulf right across to the ocean
Whole coast is a surge area, winds get to 34 mph they are going to shut the bridges down

Oh, I do protect myself.. And no, my immune system is compromised and I don’t know why my husband hasn’t yet.
So you can’t take a flu or Covid shot, it won’t help at all?
